I think this was the first "I'm leaving" thread. Which, in turn, spawned the countless others. This is the source of evil spreading throughout the forum!

Hi folks! My shady grapevine sources pointed me here, so I thought I better make my presence known. I haven't been on DV for a long time (and I have forgot my password, as you might've suspected - so if you've sent me a PM or otherwise, I've missed it).

No, I did not leave purely and entirely because of asher. (Yes, if I wanted to, I could come back right now). Sure it played a factor, but it's really just the icing on a much bigger cake. The vendetta some people seem to have against him is a bit sad, guys, he made a mistake, I've made many more and I'm half his bloody age. Even a travesty of the greatest proportions would now be quite some time ago, so the terrible wounds should've healed. Besides, the site hasn't set on fire or been sucked into a black hole now that he's taken over (I can't say I've kept up-to-date on events, though, so maybe it has) which is more than I could guarantee if I happened to be the admin.

I remember all the moaning when Leo Volont got banned, and it annoyed me then. I've got no doubt the moaning about my having been banned- much less of a punishment when it's not at all permanent - is annoying some people now too. It's annoying me. I don't want to be melodramatically remembered, it makes my ears burn, damnit!

The real big reason that I am not here and continuing to not be here (or anywhere else) is that I have a real life to attend to - my next years are going to be spent getting ready for university, etc - and I can't afford to spend any more time goofing about. I'd like to come back later, but it won't be for a long time yet. We're talking years. My future comes way over anything that could ever happen here. By the time I ever do come back you would've all forgot me, anyway, and I'm pretty sure a few of you would've gone senile (or just plain mad, to stay on a forum for years and years).

Nice to have seen a few people again though, and that's nobody's died. Hi to all the new folks, and super props to Aquanina, Merlock, AlexD, Ynot, OpheliaBlue (she back yet?), uh, Seeker, Clarity, I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head.
