Doctor Octaviusssssss :0
most informative post of the year :P
so did you like it?
hell yeah it was great, maybe even better than the first one ;; doctor octopus was friggin HOT. and um...go see it NOW
This is one of the few things I can actually agree with Paperdoll on, lol. Go see it!!!!
Special effects have been uber-cleaned and toned in comparison to the first movie's. They look all the more convincing.
And there's plenty of "shocking" moments, but if you've seen the previews, you'd probably already have clued in.
the hospital scene was pretty disturbing...
why did you delete my post paperdoll?
paperdoll your right... the hospital scene was weird as hell...
I thought the special effects in this movie where way better than the first one, the CGI and stuff didn't look like crap (in the first one when he was jumping across the buildings it looked kinda crappy).
I would have never imagined you liking this movie. Personally I didn't think it was all that good. I would give it a 7 out of 10. The matrix sequels were so much better than Spidey 2.
Don't get me wrong, I like spidey and all, but the movie didn't quite do it for me. It lacked a certain element, don't really know how to describe it...
Plus, the ending sucked...
P.S The part when everything is drowning looks so damn fake, and the CGI helicopters are more real in GTA:VC, than they are in that movie
I did like the movie (were you talking to me...?)
Edit: Oh I thought you said "I thought you'd like this movie."
yeah the end did kinda suck. but it was still a great movie D:
I meant to say: "I would have never imagined you liking this movie, Paperdoll", but Alas!!! I did not..
Anyway, it was a good way to waste 3 hours of my life,(i watched it the day it premiered) so I won't complain :D
P.S I still say the Matrix Sequels were better
Hospital scene? I don't remember that. Then again... I didn't pay much attention to the movie 'cause I thought it sucked. The effects were awesome, but to be honest I haven't liked any of these new superhero movies. I know they can't make the movies exactly like the comics, but they change too many "key" things. Like in X-Men were the directors only allowed one "bub" by Wolverine, and the Spidey movies, it took nearly two of them for Mary Jane to call Peter "tiger".
Hmm... something you're not telling us about Airrick?Quote:

I saw it last Friday, it was indeed awesome.
The hospital scene? :?:
Where Doctor Octavius goes into the o.r. after the demonstration accedent, and when the doctor tries to cut an arm off they start flipping out and killing people. That was pretty sweet now that I remeber it.
Oh...my bad. I don't think Octavius is hot... but hey, we all have a sense for both genders...he's not bad, I guess??
should i go see the movie? Is it good enough to see?
the first time i saw it, it was good although too sad...98% of that movie was depressing, and by the time it gets to the happy ending, you feel like you've slogged through so much saddness that the little bit of happy at the end is not enough to pull you all the way up...at least that was me...
then i saw it 4 more times, not of my own volition...everybody i knew ended up dragging me to that stupid movie seperately, so i ended up watching it a total of 5 times *ugh*
...each time it gets more and more boring, and the dialogue becomes totally trite...not a good re-watch movie...
...tho everytime i did enjoy that hospital scene...especially the part where he drags the one asian chick into the darkness and she's clawing at the ground so hard its making nail marks and a nice screeching sound...everytime that happens the entire audience cringes hehe
I can't seem to get the chance to go watch it, but you guys are ripping my heart out with all your great reviews!!
sob sob
(Umm... the part about it being boring after a couple of times .. sheesh. I don't expect it to be rivetting after 5 times anyway :D)
Im so anxious to watch this. I've been bugging my dad to take me, but I think we're finally going today or tomorrow :D

:o maby i don't want to see it....
Who's ready for Spiderman 3?!?
Yeah... you know it's coming.
As for Spiderman 2; Sure the special effects were better than the 1st, but the storyline took a whole lot longer than it had to.
Plus, spidey is a huge pussy, he should of hit that a long time ago, I know I would of, her name is Mary Jane for godsake!!
Yeah, the upcoming sequal was kinda obvious at the end
Actually, the upcoming sequel was obvious since before the movie itself... just think about how much money the movie was expected to, and is in fact, grossing. That alone is ground for another sequel, and many, many more...
Money moves it all...
sam raimi (the director) already started on spiderman 3, durin the first one he started the storyline of the second one, and filming the second one he started the storyline of the third one, its suppose to come out in 2008 (the house im livin at durin the summer only has fox, nbc, cbs, and E! so i watch a lotta shit about movies). it was good, but i dunno if it was better then xmen 2, i hope they come out wit a xmen 3, thatd be tight
I was just saying I think it lead into it a tad too much.
They are coming out with an X-Men 3 :teeth: *does a little dance in her chair*
www.imdb.com said that it's coming out 2006....Oh! So long to wait to see Hugh again! :damnit: I guess I'll just have to buy Van Helsing when it comes out on DVD and watch that until it does.
If only they would come out with Matrix 4...then I would have something to get excited about :|
In my opinion, the matrix sequels were the worst movies EVER MADE. The fighting sequences were so long, and so incredibly boring. The talk sequences were so incredibly stupid that they can be sumed up by simply saying "No need for talking, the audience shouldn't have to put up with 20 minutes of that "You already know your fate" crap." I think the first matrix was one of the best movies ever made though, probably because it was original and they took their time creating believable fight scenes. I waited two years before I finally gave in and watched the matrix revolutions. I didn't watch revolutions for the same reason I didn't go and see the passion of christ (2 or 3 hours of some guy getting tortured is just ridiculous, 5 minutes is enough). The wachowski brothers came up with an amazing story, but they were over their heads.
As for spiderman 2, I would say it was better than the first :) .
what would make you say that?Quote:

Cause you didn't like the Matrix sequels and argued that they were stupid. Let be honest, Spiderman isn't really brain food either...
As for Death-Wuad's response, I guess that is your opinion, but I think that the Matrix sequels are much better than spidey cause they had a stronger storyline. Most people didn't like the matrix sequels just cause they weren't half as good as the first one. If the first one had never existed and everyone's expectations weren't set as high, more people would have liked them.
What interests me the most about the sequels is the story of the cycle, and the almost flawless system of control implemented by the machines. If you think about it Neo didn't do anything special, not did he have a chance of doing so. It is very complex stuff, the only problem is that it is not the main focus of the movie. Therefore not that many people think much about it, but it truly is perfect.
The main reason why I hated the matrix sequels was because the fight sequences were amazingly stupid, it was the first time I was ever bored to do death by fighting. It would have been better as a book (that's the first time I have EVER said such a thing). That whole *slow motion* thing got on my nerves to, once is enough!
BTW, I am seriously ticked about Toby McGuire playing the role of Peter Parker (Shoulda been rambo  )
Lol that's what 90% of the people are paying to see.Quote:
