Let's say earth only had 100 inhabitants, with the same proportions regarding all human beings, and people. It would then look like this: 57 asians 21 europeans 14 americans (north and south) 8 africans 52 would be women. 48 would be men. 70 coloured. 30 caucausion. 70 non-christians. 30 christians. 89 heterosexual 11 homosexual 6 persons would own 59% of all the world's wealth, and all 6 would come from the US. 80 would not have a sufficiant place to live, 70 would be analphabets, 50 would be starved. 1 would die, 2 would be born. 1 would own a computer. 1 would have an academical education. ... If you woke up today healthy, and not ill - then you are luckier than 1 million people who will not survive this week. If you have never experienced warbattle, if you have never experienced the loneliness of improsonment and never been tortured or starved - then you are luckier than 500 million people in the world. If you can go to church without being afraid to be threathened, arrested or killed - then you are luckier than 3 billion people in this world. If you have food in your refrigurator, clothes on your body, a roof over your head and a bed to sleep in - then you are richer than 75% of the world's population. If you have an account in a bank, a bit money in your wallet, or a little cash hidden away in a small box - then you are in a group of 8% of the world's population. If you're reading this you are double blessed, because you are then: 1. Not part of the group of 2 billion people who can't read. 2. You have a computer Hope this has been enlightening.

Its kind of sad for all them on the bottom end of the list, but at the same time it nice to know you live in a good place. The average person has a home, food, can read and all that stuff, which is a lot better than it would be world wide. Everyone in the US can go to church too.

Yeah...I once got a chain mail like that. Those are the things that we choose to forget, to let them go unreported. Why don't we see news about all that on T.V? Why do we focus on all the wrong things, in those that do not matter!!! War???? I say take that billion dollars and spend it on feeding and clothing the world, rather than settling ideological, abstract, senseless feuds with it. Ironic how we have the money and we chose to use it to kill, rather than to save and improve lives. Sad, sad world this is...

This is based off of consensus and population numbers received from multiple recent encyclopedias and supported by dictatorships from conventions such as the UN and Geneva. Or from a magazine.. not sure. 8)
