just watched that movie. It is soooooo awesome! :D
I thought the movie sucked, because Kutcher can't act at all. And I liked the premise, but it's been done.
Remember that tree-house of horror episode of the simpsons, in which Homer goes back in time because of a malfuctioning toaster. Every little action he does ends up screwing with the timeline. The world was taken over by flanders, doughnuts fell from the sky, and a bunch of other hilarious events.
i had the chance to watch this movie. my brother rented it and all. i chose not to watch it though. Im pretty sure i would've felt like i was wasting 2 hours. the plot just isnt interesting for me. i hope i didnt make a mistake by not watching it...
If you're looking for a deep plot, look elsewhere :-PQuote:

I think I'm one of the few who would rather cut my lawn with a pair of scissors than watch this movie again...After the first 20 minutes or so, nothing really engaging occured...The initial emotionally-intense scenes were shocking and provoked a sense of wonder, but when they actually got to the time-travel scenes, it was really cut-and-dry, and lacked substance. Nothing abstract or thought-provoking happened. It was quite predictable.
Not only that, but that stupid , open-mouthed, look of confusion on Kutcher's face half of the time! That guy is just a stupid, talentless, MILF-fucker.
Cookie-Kutcher is fine for Dude Where's My Car but he can't put on a believable serious face.
I thought the movie was very good and entertaining overall, but the casting and acting sucked! For once, I think Ashton was the best actor in a movie, but he was absurdly mis-cast. (sorry, I want to be a casting director when I grow up so I constantly analyze this stuff...)
that movie caused me to sign up here. I went bolistic with time/existance related ideas. Anyone who got more into the story then the actual movie, let me know.
Intellectual discussion anyone??
time travel is possible with astral projection but onto the the topic it was a good movie.
If you put your finger way up you nose you can touch your brain
*tries it*
No way! You're right!!
Yahoo! My sis rented the movie a couple days ago (cause she didn't see it), so I was able to watch the alternative endings: director's cut, stalker, loveydovey. I'm glad with the original ending (theatrical cut) because it left me satisfied but not overly happy (bittersweet). The alternative endings were too sad or too stupid.
