Raft Wars
Your objective in this funny flash game is to team up with your brother and defend your treasure from the bad pirates. Kill them before they kill you. Try to do it with the least amount of shots you can to earn cash, which you can spend on upgrades after the battle. Use YOUR MOUSE to set angle and power and click LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to shoot at those rotten pirates! Have fun!

Avalanche!
Your objective in this very cool game is to jump onto blocks that fall from the sky and get as high as possible. Use LEFT and RIGHT ARROW KEYS to move and hit UP ARROW KEY to jump. Beware of the rising liquid. Once you touch it, it is game over. Also be careful not to get crushed by falling blocks. Good luck!

Boxhead: More Rooms
Easy to pick up flash game, kill zombies and get continuously better upgrades and weapons. No levels, very simple, but a lot of fun.

Matrix Bullet Time
Fight agents, initiate bullet time, and run up walls

Motherload
Dig for valuable stones and jems, and sell them at the top for upgrades and accesories. Never ending.

You mean, on the way down or once you're on the bottom?

Just go to the left as you come down, land on the little space. He'll come after you again, wait until he's about halfway down the screen jump to the left and around him.

These aren't actually flash games, more like downloadable freeware, however:

N Game Flash Taster - It's a 2d platformer where you play a ninja who simply has to get to the end of the level. Simple right? Wrong. There are mines, robots, sentry bots and the ever deadly "falling from a great height". Fortunately deaths never become boring thanks to some fun little ragdoll animations. I'd really recommend downloading the (free) full version as it has more levels, a level editor and different colours for your little ninja. Great game.

Ninjah - Coincedentally another ninja game and this is another 2d platformer but that's where the similarities end. You have a grappling hook, gun and the ability to slow time. You have to traverse levels only stepping on the correctly coloured blocks. Really good fun. Download only.

Ragdoll. It's not really a game, just some girl falling, but you can grab her with your mouse when she gets stuck. It's almost hypnotic to watch.

That's my favorite too! It's kind of old though, and I'm pissed that nobody has made a better version of it since it came out.

My other favorites off the top of my head are Fishy, Dice Wars, Proximity, Raiden X, and Bot Arena 2 & 3. All must-plays.

These are games I go to again and again in my free time to play.

Zwok
A really fun semi-turn-based strategy game. There are different weapons to use, and you can walk around and aim your shot - BUT you cannot see where the other players are moving until you've decided where you're going. So how do you know where to aim? Psychological tactics and good planning win this game!

A nearly console-grade driving game where you're being pursued by white vans which try to smash you to pieces before you complete the race.

Damn, I just wasted my whole day on that :P. Had an extensive network going down to 5200ft, then blew up in two consecutive gas explosions. Couldn't be bored to load and start halfway through again...

This is a fun little game in which the computer draws a shape, then you have to draw it from memory. It's quite short, but very addictive. My final score was a B+!

Another one is Bloons, but I'm having trouble finding it. Mainly because theres Bloons, More Bloons, Bloons Player Pack 1-3.

The Independent Gaming Source Database

This site is great if you have an afternoon to kill. Lots of downloadable games (the majority being free or torrentable) and ratings, as well as descriptions and a "Random" button. Nicely presented as well.

Knytt - I really like this game. It's kind of like Shadow of the Colossus, if you controlled a hamster-like thing, and there were no colossi. The point is that the location is amazing and an integral part of the game as you search for missing pieces (trust me, it's a good analogy). The brilliance of the game is in it's unique little environments with bucketloads of detail, easy accessibility and fluid controls. Really really good. (Although perhaps I'm overselling it...)

UPGRADE COMPLETE!

The game starts off with nothing. No game, no menu, no sounds... nothing. You have to complete missions to upgrade. It's only really good for one playthrough, but it's really fun that one time.
