Cigarettes are fukken expensive in US, it's unbelivable.... :/ |

I decided to quit smoking for various reasons, a major one being the fact that cigarettes are messing with my sleep. I would smoke 30 or 40 cigarettes in a day and then not be able to fall asleep without drinking a six pack of beer and smoking a bunch of weed. After all the drinking and dope at night I would sleep so heavily that I barely remembered any dreams. I think my body was in some kind of chemical shock from all the chemicals, because I would wake up with my body, sheets, pillows etc soaking with sweat. I mean, like I was swimming. In the morning I would need a quart of coffee to get myself going again. Actually, I had to alternate between ginsing energy drinks and coffee to avoid developing a tolerence. I have known that my sleep patterns were off for a long time, but until I started trying to LD I never really cared. |

"Be the change you wish to see in the world"
I've been clean for about two weeks now. I'm a weird nicotine user. I'll buy a pack or a can of chaw (sometimes two) and it'll take me about three days to go through, then I won't do it again for a few weeks. Then after being clean a few weeks I'll do it again. |

An idea is something you haven't fully considered.
A belief is merely a repetitive thought.
A conclusion is simply where you stopped thinking.
i'm a casual smoker... i actually had to stop for about 2 weeks... then i started again two sundays ago... now i've stopped again. i don't really notice a change in sleep habits. but i wasn't at 2 packs a day either... i was around 2 smokes a day... so i don't think that'll help you. -- i plan on quitting until christmas where i will have won a bet with my girlfriend (who just made the bet to get me to quit... she's a crafty one) but then on christmas day i will light up my glorious victory smoke and bask in my greatness. |
