I absolutely hate when someone cuts someone else's achilles tendons. I can watch any of those gross things from the Saw series, but cut that tendon and I cringe. |

So, what creeps me out the most? |

Crawling insects. Nothing makes me shudder more than seeing a beetle, cockroach or centipede, or whatever, scurry across the floor. I don't have a problem with spiders though, which is weird. Maybe because I know they eat the other bugs? |
|
Eww yeah the achilles thing is pretty disgusting ninja! |
|
Amputees really creep me out or atleast the part that is amputated |
|
Some are born to sweet deleight
Some are born to endless night
Photoshop filters that swirl people's faces |

I play broccoli with checkers every night.
I agree with ninja about the achilles tendons. That cracking sound! Ouch |

I don't know why, maybe just because mine are really important to me, but seeing someone's fingers crushed or severed in a movie. I can handle most anything else, but when it comes to seeing somebody get their fingers deliberately burnt/cut/smashed off, it freaking creeps me out beyond compare. Man on Fire comes to mind. If it's just in a firefight or something, it's less of an impact, like in Smokin' Aces where the guy gets his fingers shot off, that didn't bother me. But torture, or accidental, or whatever, it really gets to me. |

Recommended creepy film for you: the Machinest with Christian Bale. It's not a horror film, but it has the best limb removal scene ever. Bale lost 60 pounds for this film, and looks like a skeleton. |

It takes something truly dark to bother me, more the kind of thing you read in the paper than what you'd see on the screen. For me it's injury or death from sexual assault, and mothers drowning their babies. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
I'm the same as MoS, torture really makes me cringe and shiver... something about the slow, methodical breakage of bones/crushage of organs/godknowswhatelse just gets to me |
|
The horror movies can get pretty gross... like Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. That whole movie is basically disgusting! |
|
Yeah, some of the torture scenes in these movies are pretty sickening. |

I don't like heights but I don't know if that counts as "creeped out". |

Oh, I forgot about smooth jazz. There used to be this concert channel that would play smooth jazz concerts, and you'd see these musicians with their eyes squeezed shut and huge cheezy grins, and the audience kind of grooving in their seats and just loving...smooth jazz. Creeped me out. |

Water scares me. |

The lion and bear scene from the teletubbies scared the crap out of me when I was younger! It kind of still does. The tapdancing bear and the dutch dude singing... what exactly were the BBC trying to achieve? |
|
Sometimes when I'm brushing my teeth barefoot in the summer, my feet start itching and I look down only to see a big motherf*****g centipede scurrying over them. Usually stuns me for a few seconds. |
|
That's a good one. Actually, a lot of different diseases and injuries and whatnot creep me out. They make my skin crawl. I mean, I can take them and not freak out about it, but still, it always just makes me like . |
