      Girl fights on youtube.

      I keep hearing about this trend, girls beating each other up and posting it on the internet. While the idea of we Americans having the luxury of being outraged by such relatively tame phenomena makes me chuckle, actually seeing a few seconds of these videos makes me want to vomit. Who do you guys think is to blame? Parents? Peer pressure? The ever-present monolith of terror that is "society"? Horomones in our food? Alien mind control? What gives?

      Sorry but I think girls trying to fight is really funny. They're dirty, they pull hair, rip off bathing suit tops, shout profanities. It's like some disgusting display that makes me feel better about myself since I've never been in a fight in my life and can laugh at how ridiculous they look.

      But I've heard of a short-lived craze, in the UK no less, where groups of guys randomly surround and beat the shit out of some random person on the street, while another takes video of it with his camera phone. People seemed to be competing in brutality... they thought it was funny.

      Not to say the UK are anymore brutal than US people, but when I heard of this particular fad, it happened across the pond from me.
      I am posting on topic elsewhere for the most part.

      Having personally filmed a girl fight (taking place spontaneously and not for filming purposes) and posted it to youtube, I'm not sure what you're getting on about. It was funny, period, and yes partly because it was ridiculous they were fighting at all.

      Maybe the others are more vicious or trying to be titillating or whatever, I don't know.
