Tell me what races have you been mistaken for?

Umm well... I've been mistaken for a "myriad" of races.

Afghani,Pakistani,Cuban,Romanian,Native american,"some type of southern european",Turkish

And once someoen walked up to me and said are you a hindu?

Ok thats it for me how about you guys? (I know i wont get many replies to this but i guess it'll be intresting to hear from those that i do get)

Alot of those aren't races, they're nationalities.
But anywho, I've been mistaken for being brown, jewish and latin american.

I don't really use the world "race" myself. The closest I've been to such a situation is being mistaken for being an American because of my accent when I speak English.

I've been mistaken for being english on several occasions, because of my generally good english, and the way I talk.

Most people also think I'm atleast 20 years old, when they talk to me on voice programs like Teamspeak or Ventrilo

Several of my friends have told me that they originally mistakened me for being at least 1/2 Filipino because of my dark skin.

I get Irish, French, and German, and just general European. I'm actually half Italian, with the other half American Indian, Amish, Welsh and Irish.

I've been mistaken for a white nerd. I'm actually a white dork though. People can be so ignorant.

Even I can tell you're Pakistani and I couldn't even differentiate Vietnamese and Chinese 'till a few hours ago!

I dunno... maybe it's because I live in an area where most of the people are Latin American? (If not obviously something else)

I've had a lot of people ask if I was Puerto Rican, Spanish... Recently a dude asked if I was half Asian.

Not quite sure what he thought the non-white half was. Hmm. Anyway, I really enjoy confusing people.

I'm caucasian, just the darker variation I guess. As far as I know, everyone in my family has been born in Russia.

I'm not even olive-skinned! What the heck? I've had two non-specific "Are you foreign?" questions since I've moved to my new location (in the same country I've always been in: America).

Also, an Italian deli worker once hit on me.

Somebody once thought I was the Lower Alpine Mountain Marathon. I wasn't even running, either.

Another time this guy accosted me with a tire iron, yelling that I was polluting the environment with my toxic emissions. He apparently thought I was the NASCAR Kobalt Tools 500, if his barely coherent screaming was any guide. That was a trying experience, but I managed to set him straight after a lot of careful explanation and manipulation of the pain centers in his upper body.
