how could so many people say that 3 was better than VC? The main character in 3 was a frickin mute and never said one word. Besides that game was way too damn quick

Cuz thats they engine they use.
oh dear god...change your sig now please...that is TOOOO big
Vice CIty was cooll, but it seemed like GTA3 kept more to the original series than VC, which made it fun. The '80's theme kinda got on my nerves after awhile, along with the ungodly lens flares. WTF, lens flares? I don't remember the last time I've seen a lens flare outside a lens. Otherwise VC was pretty good, and all the work (I'm pretty sure) was done from scratch, as opposed to every other game on the market which uses the unreal engine.
The thing was, GTA was much more fun that VIce City.
Plus, any form of entertainment uses stereotypes, else you'd have to watch two days of boring crap just to figure out one character.
Topic kinda late... :P Wasn't it announced at E3? Vice city pwns, so eat shit and die. I thing the fourth will be good, and I'm looking forward to playing it even if it does suck.
How many of you guys are going to buy it, and how excited are you?
*raises hand* I only have one complaint though, but...im not going to say...it will sound racist, but it's just that i dont like the "ghetto thugz in the hood" attitude(which it does look like it now)Quote:

yeah. I dont want to fight gang wars and roleplay some 'nigga from da hood'.
Sadly, most young male adolecents apprantly do.
It's like.....you can read me. This is exactly what I have been trying to say! And, I'll bet you most of those male adolescents are in fact white male adolescents.
50 cent and Eminem loving "wiggas"
Pathetic drones following the trends.
You my friend, have seen the light! I just hate to see what the next trend will be, because I doubt this music will last until the end of the decade.
In Europe, its trance/dance music.
And "Hardstyle" for the really cool and hardcore party people.
I'll just keep listening to my punk music and ignore them.
Makes me wonder if punk will seriously become mainstream stuff  Oh Jesus, no!!!
See, it's the mainstream-like nature of rap and "gangsta" music that turns me off it. The songs are played out to no end in order to pacify a demographic. This is leading us to such a primitive nature. People aren't expanding their intake of different music because either they're sick of the "popular" stuff, or they love it.
Seriously, I find myself watching Fuse because it does not cater to these whiny children. They have a hip hop show, but they don't center a whole channel around it. They have musical balls.
And how does a new song suddenly get classified as popular? First day it comes out and it's being played non-stop! Doesn't anyone call in and say "Well, to tell you the truth, I like this mainstream stuff, but this song actually annoys me to no end..."
Eh.... :(
Allready kinda had that phase. Pop-punk/emo.Quote:

The nature of 'punk' however is to be anti-mainstream.
Talking full-blown here. With they way technology is advancing, and other factors, I-I.....I don't know anymore....
??
Let's just say I'll pick up Fable and Halo 2, and then go to town. And by town I mean my bedroom.
That just sounds really sad.Quote:

:D
VICE CITY WAS TEH FORTH ONE
san andreas is gonna be teh fifth
no vice city was teh fifth
Yeah, London was one.
Hey reminds me. GTA2 was awesome.
Actually, London (which was awesome) is considered GTA one still, and Vice City is still considered GTA3. Kinda like Starcraft and Brood Wars. But otherwise, yes, Vice City was the fifth release in the GTA series.

I will have the last laugh! :D Though after the life-waster Morrowind was, I don't know if I will be able to even touch ze Fable.
Wasn't GTA London an expansion on the first GTA? Cause i've got it, and you need the GTA disc to play it. :|
yeah it is.
But Rockstar released it free to download :) (GTA, GTA:L and GTA:2)
