I think the Newfie accent is the most entertaining I have ever heard. There are some similarities to the accent you might hear in parts of Ireland, but it is all its own, and the best in Canada. Not just the accent, but the dialect as a whole is golden.

Ya, I remember on this one commercial i forgot what it is they had a guy from new foundland play the part of a british person who was working in a buscut factory. the accent was pretty funny. I guess americans cant tell the difference?

Unfortunately now the newfie accent seems to be going the way of the dodo, it's starting to get muddled with the regular canadian/american accent. Proably because more people from other parts of canada are moving there, that and TV

Hahaha, the Toronto accent made me laugh. Do they actually talk like that over there?

My favourite would have to be either the Australian, Czech or the Irish. But really it's hard to pinpoint... each one is interesting and sexy in its own class (except the German one, she just reminded me of the grandma from Little Red Riding Hood for some reason).

What pisses me off though... what's her real accent?!

According to the comments on youtube she is from seattle.

But remember that peart in the middle of the video when someoen is calling her. and then all of a sudden she gets angry and she says "Im doing the thing". Remember? thats her real accent. She talks with just a regular american accent.

And i dont think thas how they talk from toronoto either. she must not know many canadians...

I do so love meself a good Irish accent on a lass.

She did quite well, methinks, but her South Carolina accent could use some work. Needs something. She was a wee bit off on a couple others, too, but I'm not complaining.

      Still wow! I'm impressed.
My favourite accent has to be British. I just find the accent classy and decent.

Considering Britain contains England, Wales, Scotland and a bit of Ireland, and England alone has at least 2 dozen distinct accents, there is no "the British Accent."

Nitpicking aside, I have to go with the spanish accent, when done by sexy, horny girls. Otherwise, it'd have to be Irish.

Spanish accents are hot, as long as the forced lisp doesn't carry too far into their English.

I've also met a few Canadians with cool accents, but I didn't ask from which region they were.

The accent where I live at the moment is one that I find hilarious. XD

I posted that video a few weeks ago in the accents thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...693#post718693

My favorite is the English accent, and the Irish and Australian takes a close second and third

      I love most accents.

French accents are my favorite by far. English comes in 2nd.

I also love Italian, and other accents around that area.

As for that video, her Brooklyn accent was horrible.

hey! She said her name is "amy walker" that's my debate coach's name! lol, dont know why I brought that up

anyway, I love australian, and scottish follows VERY closely behind it. I have an american accent... I think it's boring... and sadly I dont think very many other people like it at all. The thing is I'm scottish, but that's the one accent that I can't fake for the life of me.

      French

      German

      Spanish (Spain)

      ...in no particular order.

I really hate what I call "Old lady German."

There is a difference between the German in the video and the accent in Green Years or National Treasure (Diane Kruger)

It happens when they accentuate the W's into V's too much and they say "old" like "odd"

"I am tventy five years odd" would be an example of old lady German.
