In my experience, it's not the tooth coming out that hurts. It's whatever caused the tooth to come out that hurts. |

I was wondering if you know personally how it feels to get your teeth knocked out. Or if you have a friend (etc..) that has had them knocked out? |

I had my two front teeth knocked out three times. It's like Onieronaut said. The worst thing by far was the nerve ending sticking out. If you get them knocked out and it does the nerve damage you would have to have a root canal done. Twice in basketball for me. Once ..I'd rather not say. |

This happened some time ago to me. I had bondo put in to replace the missing teeth. They are becoming a little bit yellow. It is $600 PER tooth to layer bondo over them. They have material now that is far better. What did you guys do for ..repair? |

Only thing that hurts about it is if you accidentaly touch the place where the tooth used to be with your tongue... |

Considering the fact that literally having your teeth knocked out of your mouth would require force that could easily dislocate, possibly even brake, your jaw, not to mention that the one inch plus roots being forcibly torn from their firm holds in your jawbone; I would say there is a possibility it is moderately painful. |

During my "urban explorer" phase, when basically if there was no after-hours, I would go find a post-industrial hulk to climb, I once found myself walking home with an interesting bronze-and-glass light fixture, spitting blood. I don't even know what happened, though I suspect I missed a jump and met some concrete. Anyway, one of my front teeth was dangling by the roots. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
I had my tooth brocken when i was 9. I hitted my face in the ground and I broke it. It hurts like hell... as far as i remember. But it hurted the most when you go to take off all the nerfs inside and put an artificial piece of the broken part. |

No worries, Guy--it seemed mean-spirited when I read it, but it doesn't look like you meant it that way. |

I too have had a chipped tooth from fighting. It hurt more to actually get the thing fixed than getting punched in the jaw. |

Starry starry night, paint your pallet blue and gray,
Look out on a summers day,
with eyes that know the darkness of my soul.
