Because christianity isn't a race. I think that is a pretty clear cut difference. Look up Jews for Jesus if you are still having trouble. Its possible to be a christian Jew.

Compelling argument... Jews for Jesus was created to convert Jews into Christians...

jews for jesus are not jewish i can tell you that first hand they want to do nothing more than convert us. Their beliefs contradict jewish beliefs yet because they have adopted some jewish rituals they believe that they are jewish. and yes, jews are a genetic group, this has been proven with genetics but converts are merely jewish by faith which i might add is not looked down upon for the most part

There is both a Jewish religion and a Jewish race. You do not need to be one to be the other.
