      what brings back good memories?

It could be anything, sounds, smells, songs, foods, movies... anything really.
This isn't the memories themselves I'm talking about, but something that just gives you that sparks that memory of an experience you once had giving you that warm fuzzy feeling inside

      mine are:
      the sound of ocean waves
the feeling of sand beneath my feet
      the sound of crickets chirping
      the smell of a campfire
      the sound of fireworks
      pancakes
the songs "stolen" by dashboard confessional and "nothing left to lose" by Mat Kearney
      the creek behind my house
      my brother's old car
      my friend's trampoline
      stars

Songs always, And various scents. Like say I used to wear this perfume a lot in a certain period of time. As soon as I smell it, the memories of that time come flooding back in. It's pretty surreal. And it makes me feel nostalgic more than anything else.

The song "Buy You a Drink" by T-Pain.

Purely for the fact that it was my first ringtone on my cell phone, and it would always ring when I first started partying last summer. Me and my friends had the best times, and that song reminds me of it.

The smell of old leather and hot oil, in any old car. It reminds me of long summer drives with my Dad in his old car, when I was a kid.

The sound of a Rolls Royce Merlin.... instantly I'm five and looking in awe at a Spitfire... seing this roaring, snarling beast get airborn right in front of me.

Any rough collie dog (Lassie...). I see my old dog, Duke and all the fun I had.

Oh, also, System of a Down and the smell of my brother's car.

      Reminds me of Freshman year.

-The huge 4-minute solo from Nottingham Lace
-The smell of gasoline (like near my cabin)
-The aftermath of a storm (like the one rite now)
      And I'm sure there's more.

Edit: Oh, and sneaking out under the bridge near Lowes Creek. Love that place.

The song Mr Brightside by The Killers always made me remember certain memorys from 8th grade, it was the only exighting portion of my life in along time I had been actually trying to become friends with a few people for once in my life, I never got that close to them, but I had fun. Ofcourse as you may know the songs subject was not so happy, it relates well to my only problems during that period.

Going to dreamviews.com/oldforum specually entering the chat room, I used to spend hours in there, now it's just a wasteland.

I've never had memorys from a specific sent, or any basic sensation for that matter.

Listening to verious songs that were suggested to me by my friends always reminds me of them when I'm listening to them.

The show, Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, because that is what I was watching when the news that my dad died of a cardiac arrest arrived when I was 11.

music from my childhood always brings back good memories, wonderwall and don't look back in anger by oasis mainly. The smell of freshly cut grass always always reminds me of playing soccer with friends or playing outside at school in the summer. The smell of wet tarmac on a summer's day reminds me of all the summer water fights we used to have and everyone used to come to my house to refill their supersoakers and buckets of water. I love the smell of fresh cold and crisp air in the morning.

Being out at an event at night reminds me of all the great times in marching band the past 3 years.

A lot of pop songs that were popular when i was younger and went to the pool like everyday all summer

Listening to some of the first Dream Theater songs I heard. I don't know why they bring back memories but when I hear them it's almost like there is something magical that I should remember but there's not.

      Christmas music....

Lol, no it has nothing to do with Christmas, just the fact that on my birthday, I had my friends over all night, and we were on the floor talking and stuff...and then I was on the computer, and in the middle of my friend's sentence, I burped really loud, and put on some Christmas music. (In the middle of spring...)

Hey guys, I'm back. Feels good man
