wo hold on you wouldnt go in swimming in 60 degrees? hell in washington the weather is all over the place but 60 would be just fine. the better question is how do you go outside when its 110? you'd be baken yourself.
110? Get Out.
110 isn't nearly as bad in Arizona as it is in Georgia. Here we have 100% humidity to deal with too. It's a sweltering, clinging, damp heat here. It feels cooler there, because the air is drier. It's not so good for working in either way though. Heat stroke and thirst get you far sooner than you might think.
Are you in Yuma? That's the only place in Arizona I know that it would get THAT hot this time of year.
I have family all over Arizona (I'm originally from Tucson, raised there for 25+ years), and it hasn't been nearly that hot anywhere, except for Yuma (I have an aunt there).
I would so love to be there, right now. I'm in Texas right now, and today the high was 88, but it felt like 96 because of the humidity. I'd rather be in a "dry heat" than here, lol. I don't care what anyone says, but the "dry heat" is so much better.
For me, 60 is perfect (and 60 with humidity is even better). I would totally go swimming.;)
It was 149 the other day where I live...
With or without humidity?
Not sure, it was in Libya, so I assume it was low. However, humidity doesn't factor into the how the temperature is measured when it's hot like wind chill does when it's cold.
Wat.
 What would you like me to explain Seis?
Well that doesn't make sense.
If it is 70 Degrees with 0-10% humitidty, then it feels about 70.
If it is 70 with 100% Humidity (Not gonna happen really, but that's besides the point) then it feels about 80-90.
So why would the temperature not be affected?
It's our perception of the heat that's affected, not the heat itself. A "dry heat" is usually tolerable while high humidity can make even a mild day miserable. But that's beside the point. It was not 149 wherever you live, on any day.
Of course it isn't
That was an joking exaggeration to begin with.
Oh right, I forgot, if you're ever wrong it was a joke from the beginning.
27 if it was 147 here it would be on the news :?
Of course, if someone ever tries to talk serious and then remind the other person that the whole thing was dry sarcasm to begin with then the other person is sour.
Whatever Seis. I'll just let your posts speak for themselves.
Well most people let posts do that because the posts tend to do that because that is kind of the point of the post.
I went to Arizona (Tucson) and it snowed. It was like 4 or 5 years ago. We went across the border for the day and it was the first time the people I was with had seen snow. Then we saw a parked car that was covered in like 3 inches of snow which was weird because it was snowing extremely lightly. But we had a snowball fight in Mexico.
But I remember being jealous of Arizona's heat school days. Where you guys get off for it being too hot. Our school hasn't gotten a snow day since the 70's. Even when it snowed 2 feet (literally) NOOOO because we have no bus system so there is no reason to cancel school. Even though 1/3 of the teachers didn't come...bogus.
