I can tell you all about the clues The Beatles planted in their music and album covers, but I can also tell you that there is no way to replace the most talented musician of the 20th century (Well, with stiff competition from John Lennon, Joni Mitchell, and Jimi Hendrix.). There cannot be a second Paul McCartney. It would be like replacing Mozart with an imposter. Completely impossible.

Seriously, though, people still bring this up? I think that even if it is a conspiracy (in which case his family and close friends would be in on it), it's irrelevant now. If Paul Mcartney isn;t the original Paul Mcartney, he's been doing well on his own merits for decades. ven if it was a conspiracy, why would they leave clues strewn about? Hardcore Paul Is Dead fanatics say it's to show people who loved Paul that it's a lie, and the current paul isn;t the reall paul, but I say that's just rationalisation, because they would likely have either kept it quiet and dropped hints, not that he's dead, but for people who figured it out to shut up about it for the good of the band. Anyway, the four most cited pieces of evidence are the backmasked "turn me on, dead man" (whicxh I revoked), the "paul is dead" in Strawberry Fields Forever, which I haven;t actually heard because I've not heard the roiginal release of it, the bare feet and "undertaker, mourner, priest, corpse"
design on abby road, with the VW beetle license (they specifically wore what they wanted, and it was the photoigrapher's choice to use the one image in which paul had bare feet, as well as the beetle having been owned by a rnandom person who was later referenced in interviews), and th3e reflection on the cover of the Sgt. Anyone can focus on something and then find clues that imply it to be true, ezsspeciually when you have thousands of hysaterical people looking for the same clues.

I actually decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and watch a couple of this guys videos, and all I have to say is wow. Half of his videos have little to no relevance to his point, they're just like barrages of random pictures that skip by really fast, images of people not even slightly related to The Beatles such as Aaliyah, Tupac and Kurt Kobain, then disturbing bits of video tape such as eyes being pried open with metal things and eerie music playing in the background with strange sounds to top it all off.

Not to mention, the guy has apparently 73 different videos, the majority of them containing either poor evidence, or no evidence towards his argument, and half the videos for whatever reason are only like 30 seconds long.

There are some interesting points to read about this, but that guys videos were just bullshit. Also, when you listen to something backwards, it's highly subjective. You'll hear whatever is written, because it's what you're expecting to hear. I've seen like five different videos playing Stairway to Heaven backwards, and each of them had completely different interpretations of what it was saying. To be honest, half of the stuff just sounds like complete mumbles and jumbles of words, not making any sense whatsoever, that goes for the Beatles songs that supposedly have messages backwards too.... I don't pick up on half the things the videos claim I should be hearing, because they sound entirely different.

Then there's the fact that most likely, the Beatles probably perpetuated this themselves purposefully, not to try and get out the message that Paul is dead, but rather because it sells records. Everyone wants to get their hands on the records that have *creepy* hidden messages in them, because it's fun to listen to and try to decipher, even if it means absolutely nothing.
