Woah, let's slow down here. After I reveal the fact that, indeed, the iPod thing is a complete waste of time and money, and deprive you of your referrals so carefully derived from other people's userbases, you ask me to cry you a river. A sexually excited one. :|

...Shareaza. No spyware, no ads, completely free. Don't use any of the crappy stuff.
Shareaza.com
Just go download it now, I'm sure you'll find it better than the rest. No, really. Kazaa has spyware, Kazaa lite has died, eMule is slower than my grandfather's car, and eDonkey is the same as eMule except with an idiot community.
Really, just use it.
Let's look for the following words: mp3, music, riaa, illegal, rip, songs, ripping, and, finally, the sentence \"illegal file sharing\".
Oops, it's not there. Not once do I say anything about downloading illegal stuff. Therefore, you're wrong. Promoting a P2P client is perfectly legal - it depends what you download from it. You were wrong. Don't put words in my mouth, mmk?
Quote:
but its unspoken purpose is to download/share copyright music
IT IS? News to me. Because, the \"unspoken purpose\" of a Shareaza P2P client is to access and download from the Shareaza networks, not explicity to download music. If it was, they would of been lawsuited ages ago.

whatever your too confusing for anyone to carry on an argument
I somehow doubt that.
Quote:
i didnt say illegal software and you arent clear
Oh, but that was your unspoken words. :)

bark at others for wasting space while you are wasting it yourself
Okay, next time I'll lay low and let you filll it up with, presumably:
\"Pleeeeeeeeaaaassssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeee join up for my iPod pyramid scheme!\"

pretend to be a moderator
Er, what the hell. I don't say I'm a moderator, and saying I do is just a complete pack of lies. The closest I've said is:
Quote:
If I was a moderator,
Not:
There's quite a difference, you have to admit.
Quote:
promote illegal downloading of files
We already discussed how this was a load of BS above, right.
Quote:
spit out made up facts about the things im promoting
Please give me examples. Of course, the whole intent of my post was to look cool. How on earth did you discover it. [/sarcasm]
Quote:
you got another thing coming
I find it wholesomely amusing how you use the same format as my above post. Why? Does it escape you how to construct your own? It certainly seems like it to me.
Quote:
you are not an admin or moderator for these reasons
What reasons? Each and every one has been utterly destroyed above. :)
Quote:
if the admins wanted me to not post that i hope they would have asked me to stop or deleted it but they havent
let me follow your same style.
Quote:
if the admins wanted me to not post that your iPod pyramid scheme was a load of rubbish i hope they would have asked me to stop or deleted it but they haven't.
And finally, I think I'll clarify each reason that this amazing free iPod thing isn't good, just so you can't use your \"fake reasons\" again.
Viral Marketing (ie: what this is)
Quote:
Viral marketing refers to marketing techniques that seek to exploit pre-existing social networks to produce exponential increases in brand awareness, through processes similar to the spread of an epidemic.
The term was originally coined to describe various free email services' practice of appending advertising for themselves to outgoing mail from their users. The assumption is that if such an advertisement reaches a \"susceptible\" user, that user will become \"infected\" (i.e., sign up for an account) and can then go on to infect other susceptible users. As long as each infected user sends mail to more than one susceptible user on average (i.e., the basic reproductive rate is greater than one), standard results in epidemiology imply that the number of infected users will grow according to a logistic curve, whose initial segment appears exponential.
More generally, viral marketing is sometimes used to describe any sort of Internet-based stealth marketing campaign, including the use of web logs, seemingly amateur web sites, and other forms of astroturf to create word of mouth for a new product or service.
As you can tell, it's not good is it? Go argue with wikipedia.com about it if you like, I'm sure they tell you what I'm unspokenly telling you here.

Okay, the end. Now I certainly know that post was harsh, but to be frank I don't like it when people can't admit the fact they're not going to get an iPod, and espcially when they throw completely made up reasons at me. Anyway, because I happen to have a brain, and I can't really be bothered to continue an argument all the time with pcmsmurf, which I'm sure would only consist of more unspoken reasons and illegal music file sharing plotz!!111. So I'm not posting anymore in this thread. I'm sure the silent treatment will work out for him in the end. (deletethread, deletethread, deletedeletethreadthread deletedeletedeletethreadthreadthread).
P.S: I HOLD TRUTHBUTTER RESPONSIBLE!111. >:)
