Wow. Is Advanced highers like A level, does this mean your going to uni this year?

Advanced Highers are more similar to AS levels. And yes, I'm going to uni this year. It should be a different experience!

Scotland get their AS (or equivalent?) results earlier, so they have theirs already.

I'm expecting four As. Should I fall short, I will evidently have to take drastic action.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what's A2?

The exam that comes after AS. Together they combine to form a full A-level.

Omg it's pretty soon. I'm in France that week tho so I gotta get 'em posted.

I already got an A in AS maths, hoping for an A at A level, then As in Physics, Chemistry and Biology AS.

I'm doing Further AS + A2 next year, along with my other 3 science A2s... so with a little luck I'll have 5 whole As at the end.

There won't be any A*s in the results this year, by the way. That's the people who start sixth form next year.

8 hours a way, i'm pretty nervous about mine, they could go either way because i'm not 100% confident about anything since my disappointing January results. We'll have to wait and see though, i'll probably be disappointed either way.

good luck ppl... i know im going to be disappointed with my Chemistry results( going to have to re-sit them) but i'm hoping i get the A in biology i so want and the B in history( not sure if i will here..)

all countries have things like this, i believe.. in america the equivalent would be ACTs and SATs, i think? if GSCE or whatever and the other tests are tests taken to get into college/university.

Just got mine, disappointed is all i can say.

Music Technology - D (This surprised me, i thought i'd done best in this because i put a ton of effort in, looks like i won't be taking Music at Uni)
ICT - B
Business Studies - C
Maths - C

And i just know that all you guys are going to come out with A's and B's, i suck majorly at exams.

These seem more specialized, though. Reminds me more of AP tests (except without the college credit!).
