My opinion of course. It's from the PS2 game Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia. If you are familiar with that game you either loved it or hated it probably. I loved it. Anyway the song is written in an in game "invented" language, which I could explain, but this quote from wikipedia will do:

"Although it is a synthetic language constructed solely for the game, it is translatable and not just pure gibberish. The basic Hymmnos grammar consists of "emotion sound(想音)-V-O-C", and many words are taken from existing languages; mainly English, Japanese, Sanskrit and German."

Well I suppose you either stopped reading there or are intrigued. I'll post the lyrics, then the best translation I know of. The first set of lyrics, e.g. the non-English ones, are mine as I hear them, the one's I've seen on the internet do not follow the song. Well they do, but they stop before it finishes. The translated lyrics therefore, aren't perfect, however it mainly just repeats.

Oh and, you know, piracy is bad and stuff, if you like that, go buy the game. But good luck finding it in English! Took me a year and a half after learning of it. Anyway, any opinions or thoughts on this? Such a pretty song I think, but the lyrics reveal it to be darker than you might expect.
