If Bush wins I'll..... I'll..... kill myself. But wait, then who will kill him?
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
      - Albert Einstein
"We're so engaged in doing things to achieve purposes of outer value that we forget the inner value, the rapture that is associated with being alive, is what it is all about."
      -Joseph Campbell
"He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. This disgrace to civilisation should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, senseless brutality, deplorable love-of-country stance, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be part of so base an action! It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder."
      -Albert Einstein

crazy radicals. wait on florida and ohio... wait... be patient... here, have some tool lyrics to calm you.

a groan of tedium escapes me,
      startling the fearful.
is this a test? it has to be,
      otherwise i can't go on.
      draining patience, drain vitality.
this paranoid, paralyzed vampire act's a little old.

      but i'm still right here
      giving blood, keeping faith
      and i'm still right here.

      wait it out,
      gonna wait it out,
      be patient (wait it out).

if there were no rewards to reap,
no loving embrace to see me through
this tedious path i've chosen here,
i certainly would've walked away by now.
      gonna wait it out.

if there were no desire to heal
the damaged and broken met along
this tedious path i've chosen here
i certainly would've walked away by now.

and i still may ... (sigh) ... i still may.

      be patient.
i must keep reminding myself of this.

and if there were no rewards to reap,
no loving embrace to see me through
this tedious path i've chosen here,
i certainly would've walked away by now.
      and i still may.

      gonna wait it out.
      clear eyes. strong hands.

      It doesn't matter... Bush won.

      This country's screwed anyways.

EDIT: That was a bit too extreme I guess... But actually I really think that there are just too many things that can go wrong from this point on.

I sorta agree with squall. I dont really care who wins(hoping for kerry though). Bush can go ahead and win the thing. Just as long as he doesnt fuck up again, like he did these past 4 years.

anyway dooley, i'll take up your offer. here are 10 reasons. NOTE: i did NOT make these up. I just googled 10 reasons not to vote bush and this is what i got and copied and pasted it. They are most likely extremetists so read at your own disposal

#10- A man who is in dire need of remedial speech class has no business speaking for America. This fool has repeatedly caused the rest of the world to look at us as a nation of morons.

#9- The simple minded chimp known as Dubya wasn’t elected in the first place. He lost the popular vote in 2000 to Al Gore and only received more electoral votes due to a series of highly questionable events. Florida, who’s Governor happens to be Bush’s brother, was the state in question. The Supreme Court blocked a recount that may have changed the outcome of the election. Somehow Bush found a way to cheat; money talks.

#8- Bush recently decided not to resign the Assault Weapons Ban, his only motivation was due to the fact the National Rifle Association’s support hinged on his decision. This is an example of bad politics run amok. Essentially, this is a case of “you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours,” on a presidential scale.

#7- The appointments that Bush has made to various positions could be called a train wreck at best. He has provided individuals involved with the Iran-Contra scandal with positions they aren’t fit to fill and has dolled out important government jobs to undeserving family members of his administration.

#6- Bush has been praised for his leadership following the events of Sept. 11, this praise is undeserved. After being sworn into office Bush began to vacation constantly. He held the fewest press conferences of any president in history prior to the events of 9/11. A little more attention to his duties may have saved this country a whole lot of heart ache.

#5- Bush’s imperialistic agenda has blinded him to problems that we face at home. Consider this fact, the Surgeon General estimates that approximately 300,000 Americans die each year from obesity, a number that dwarfs those deaths attributed to terrorism. If Dopey is so concerned about saving lives, as he claims, perhaps he should abandon his crusade to allegedly protect us from terrorists and focus on domestic issues.

#4- Bush is guilty of allowing his religious beliefs to trump on the rights of many individuals. He has used religion in an attempt to justify every action he takes. Allowing him to operate like this any longer is like handing a child an Uzi and telling them to run along and play.

#3- The Bush Administration has all but forgotten about the supposed perpetrator of Sept. 11. He was named Osama bin Laden, you might remember him. He seems to be gone and lost forever, although I suppose it is hard to catch a man who was never meant to be caught.

#2- Fiction: Iraq possesses weapons of mass destruction and Saddam Hussein is going to kill you. Fact: The Bush Administration lied. They had no plan to win the peace, no exit plan. There never were any such weapons but these clowns refuse to relinquish their lies. This was a war fueled by this administration’s lust for oil money as well as a personal vendetta that Bush held against Hussein. This can be evidenced by the fact that Dubya keeps the pistol that Saddam Hussein was holding when captured in the White House. “Heh-heh look what I’ve got Daddy.”

#1- This Administration is one enormous collection of liars who can’t admit when they’re wrong. We are being governed by a clique who is only interested in the gains of themselves and their friends. I am not fully convinced that the events of Sept. 11, 2001 were simply an act of terror. Money and power corrupt. I would like anyone to prove to me that the Bush Administration didn’t purposely allow the events of Sept. 11 to transpire so that they in turn could pursue a perpetual war on terror. It is nearly a perfect crime. A nation suffers a devastating terrorist attack; the leaders of that nation rally the country into a patriotic fervor and proclaim that freedom will be defended. Who is going to question that? Well I just did.

      3. our nation's economy.
      4. his massive spending bills.
      5. religion. he makes decisions concerning this country based on his religion. this is a religiously diverse nation, decisions should be made on policies not religion.

Iraq is reason enough for me...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up

Well there are far too many to list but try US and UK troops are getting killed daily in Iraq we need good quality back up from Germany, France and other european allies. Kerry is waaaaaay more likely to get that times 1000.

Unfortunately America has re-elected these lovely careing ultra conservatives (the democrats in the US are conservatives to my mind) this means more US and UK troops will be killed, ah well... chow down the burgers folks your safe in the US now with the Bush boys on patrol.

      Doesn't look like it.
I honestly cannot understand how Bush can get this many votes, after the unlimited screwups... It seems to me that southerners need an uzi turned on themselves.

Sorry I don't really have anything against republicans or conservatism in general *chews the table* but I do have a problem with ultra christian conservatives and buying the most important job on the planet.
