Hokay, I've come up with a system. |

There are these little rhyme things that help you remember pi, called piems, that the length of each word corresponds to the digits of pi. Look em up! Im sure itll help |

Things are not as they seem
I memorized about 250 for pi day last year. The first 50 will be plastered in my brain for eternity lol, they can just rattle off my tongue. The problem last year was i didn't start until 2 days before hand. Technically memorizing 100 digits a day isn't too bad if you are devoted. Takes maybe 2 hours of off and on focused effort to memorize 100 good enough to remember for a little while. Just memorize it in small clumps that make sense. 50 20 97 494459 for example, those flow for me. don't think of all the numbers individually, think fifty twenty ninety-seven for example. |

3.1415926535897932384626433832795 is as far as I ever memorized, and I thought that was crazy... |

Lucid Dreams since Joining: 9, I think.

Dream Journal and other cool stuff.
Pi = 3.14159 for all practical purposes. Saved myself God knows how many hours of pointless memorization for 99.99999% of my uses of pi, which I never really use anyway now. |

This thread has inspired me to memorize more Pi. I'm now up to 51 digits. |
|
Have you tried mnemonics? That's how I got 120 digits in 2 days. |
