What is your perception of heaven?

Not sure whether or not this belongs in Senseless Banter or Philosophy, but I'll post here because I am not sure.

Question - What is your perception of heaven?

The main point of this question is to see what people actually perceive what heaven would be like for them if it really existed.

For example, my perception of heaven would be a place of immortality (of course), where you can live for eternity in a utopian society. You can ask 'What If' questions about your previous life on Earth, and take the opportunity to experience what certain things would be like, for example, what if I never did this, or what if I was. Everyone that you knew on Earth that had died, is waiting for you when you arrive, kind of like an airport. You are designated a generous amount of land in heaven to do what ever you please with it. You can live in heaven in a chosen age of your life when you enter. You can return to Earth for a designated amount of time, as a spirit, to observe what is going on down there. No currency exists, you can have anything you want as long as you were deemed worthy enough to have it (depending on who you were on Earth). That is my perception of heaven.

A stream of endless thoughts that we percieve an endless and perfect reality where we can feel pure bliss and happiness constantly, exploring our unlimited multi/universe with transcended bodies that need nothing, but can still enjoy the carnal desires and feeling of having those desires gratified, and being able to experience this perfection with others, especially those you love...

The rest means nothing...

I cannot imagine. The infinite, intelligent beauty will dissolve "me" beyond comprehension; beyond all universes.

Hopefully something better than non existance.

There's certain moments that happen in my life where I wish time would stop, and let the moment go on forever. Where I'm contented, happy, and feel peaceful. Any one of those moments would be it. That would be heaven.

Yes. In Reality, there is only this moment. Time cannot be experienced, if Now is revealed.

Eternal moments... Your mind explodes into peace, the ego shrinks in awe..

But see, "eternally content" wouldn't exist would it?

When you know what you are, by finally comprehending this Reality, you are eternally content, because you have shifted to the inevitable context in which nothing can go wrong.

I don't believe in heaven anymore, so I guess when you die, I just think that's it. It's really a void beyond human comprehension. I'd probably say it's best described as being under anesthesia, except forever.

well i suppose the only way for heaven to work is for everyone to have their own version when they die, because everyone wants/expects something different. Interesting that quite a few people visualise heaven as a place were you can do what ever you like, say tons of sex, eat all you want and don't get fat, etc. Speaking from a religious perspective that would make heaven a place of sin so it wouldn't work like that.

Anyway for me death is the best option, eternal resistance would become torturous, I suppose for as long as I wished I'd like to be able to watch a race grow from a tribal like time period to a time when they had mastered space t ravel. But eventually i would have exhausted every wish and dream I had and life would become completely meaningless and without direction so then I'd want to die. Sex with whoever i want would be cool too, don't get me wrong i want all the personal pleasures included in the package.

If you had infinite understanding, you would have to reason to be with loved ones. That would be about as interesting as spending time with a pet rock to you.
