Since when was there a GOOD choice in the presidential election?

I know that Obama's not a good choice, but so far I've yet to find one good thing about him...

Lowering Taxes for 95% of Americans iirc, a Vice President that has a clue, and the Congress is (at the moment) mostly Democratic, so more laws would get passed.

Seis is going to contribute nothing of value in -1, -2, -3...

How does raising corporate taxes by 50% help the middle class who is employed by those corporations help them, now?

High taxes is win. Just look at the UK and Scandinavia.

The positive side of Obama is that he'd screw you Americans over less than mcCain would.

There are good choices, but they are marginalized, and swept aside for the two-party dictatorship.

Doesn't Britian have something like a dozen majopr parties? Even though I'm a republican, I actually don't like the idea of a republican in every other time. I sincerley want to know what people like about him so... I am not trying to make a debate thread, either. though I may point out why I believe a positive someone brings up is actually a negative, I'm not just going to try and argue with everyone.

I don't think anyone responded to your thread in the manner that you'd of liked so I'll list some things I know and try to keep my personal views on Obama out of them.

1. Obama's tax cut plan gives 3 times as much tax relief for middle class Americans than McCain's does. Obama's tax cut plan will give Americans who earn less than $250,000.00 a year tax cuts on their income tax as well as other taxes.

2. He has a plan to cover all Americans under an affordable healthcare policy since 1/3 American's don't have any healthcare plan at all. People under the age of 25 will be allowed to be covered under their parents healthcare plan.

3. He wants to educate little kids on what "inappropriate touches" are so that if it happens, they'll know to report it to a trustworthy adult.

4. He wants to withdraw us from the Iraq war which has been hemmorhaging American tax payers dollars for years. He agrees that we have to be as careful getting out as we hastily got in...but he has a plan to get out.

5. He was the first black president of his harvard law review

6. He created a voter registration drive that registered over 150,000 new voters (and no, not acorn).

7. He spent 12 years as a constitutional law professor

8. He spent 8 yars as a state senator representing a district with over 750,000 people

9. He became chairman of the state senate's health and human services committee

10. He spent 4 years in the US Senate representing a state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran Affairs committees.

Most of this is general stuff...if you wanted to know "good" things about what he plans to do for YOU and ME then you should have been more specific. I listed a few though.

He's a globalsit, thats good, right? And I'm sure he knows just what to do about global warming and health care[/sarcasm]

The federal reserve bank was the worst thing ever established for this country. Most people in this country dont realize that they are privately owned and operated bank started by international banks. They arent regulated by the US government at all. They print every dollar for the US economy and loan it to us at interest. How can you pay off the interest if the money your paying it off with comes from those you owe the interest to in the first place? You have to keep borrowing money in order to pay off the interest on money already borrowed. Money = Debt , and Debt = Slavery. Sooner or later they are gonna wanna collect the money owed. When that happens the economy will collapse, panic will ensue and martial law will come into place. This will not just happen in the USA it will happen globally and it will lead to one world government and a paperless money society. RFID will be the future and everything will be controlled by the government.
