      Turbo Silencer Removal?

      I just bought a 1998 Saab 900S with a 2.0 liter turbo. Does anyone know how (or even if it's possible) to remove the turbo silencer from it? I've been watching some videos of vehicles with and without the silencer in, and I would love to hear the whistle of the turbo. I bought a car with turbo, I should be able to hear it!

      They make silencers for turbochargers? After sitting in a 9-liter diesel tractor for an entire day, I would WANT a silencer. Those things don't whistle, they HOWL. You can hear some of the bigger eight-wheelers' turbos for an entire mile. They're louder than chainsaws.

      Haha, yeah, most cars bought with stock turbos have silencers built in (sadly, in my case).
