      I don't find much point in posting off-topic short of socializing and trying to make political, religious or intellectual points across. Then the question arises of why it matters trying to get those points across on a bloody online forum.

      We post to discuss with people we like if only on a subconscious level, or because we gains satisfaction from causing chaos and annoyance. Both of these implies some caring about the people involved with the form, either like or dislike. I don't think many people fall outside of this range.

      Sure it's an online forum and 'friends' are not remotely like friends in real life. But we're here, aren't we?
