Also, this is for the U.S. If you aren't a citizen of the U.S. I think it might skew the results I need for the survey. Don't worry about being right or wrong for the first two questions, it isn't about that.

Do you feel we should ban the sale of alcohol? No, ineffective and will fail. Needs greater restriction, I know too many people who lost friends and family to it. 4. Leaning more towards no due to the people I have seen change after using it for awhile, including some friends moving up to heroin and cocaine.

It was a failed attempt to prevent bad habits among the American public. 2. When was prohibition in effect? 1930s. I don't remember exactly, but that sounds about right. Women had the right to vote and largely contributed to the formation of the law(s) that went into effect. 3. Do you feel we should ban the sale of alcohol? No. 4. People should be more aware of the chemicals in ciggarettes, and the fact that they can get certain brands that don't contain nearly as many chemicals, like american spirits. I smoked for 2 years before I found this out. I know it hasn't been proven in any way, but it seems kinda obvious that tobacco with a bunch of chemicals in it is gonna be worse for you than organic tobacco. There should also be some regulation of all the God damn propaganda that pushes for a ban. It's completely ridiculous right now. Substance bans never work. Why is america so LD? Also, cigarettes should be allowed to advertise. I mean, politicians are allowed to, and they are much more detrimental to our society. EDIT: I'm looking at this list of chemicals in ciggarettes. Theres some weird shit on it like chocolate, carrot oil, cognac. I don't know if it's accurate but it's funny. 5. We should definetly legalize marijuana. I think this is the main cause of drug problems in this country. If good cannabis was readily availiable, people would be much less likely to use pills and other more dangerous drugs. If it weren't for drug prohibition we wouldn't have crack or crystaly meth. Literrally. Neither of these would have been invented if it weren't for drug prohibition. Legalize it.

The government should not be able to tell us what to do with our own bodies.

If you mean prohibition, pretty much all the time somewhere or another. if you mean Prohibition, then the 1920s. 3. Do you feel we should ban the sale of alcohol? No. 4. Do you feel we should ban the sale of cigarettes? No, But more strict non-smoking area codes would be nice. 5. Do you feel we should legalize marijuana? Yes, in that it would be easier to regulate that way, there are ways of making things legal yet inaccessible to the public. Plus, the medicinal marijuana controversy would go down to only slightly more relevance than medicinal morphine. That good enough?
