Yes. The PITE technique. (I thought of calling it the PIE technique, but i guess the "The" have to be in)
      "Poke In The Eye"
      It really makes vivid HI's

      How to:
Find your favourit finger. Straighten it out(sharpen the nail for best results) and aim for your favourite eye.
After a while you will dance on colors.

if you apply some slight pressure to your eyeballs you can create colours similair to hypnagogic imagery, but poking woulndt do any good.... only damage. heh.

If you put your fingers right under your eyes, and put pressure on them from under, you go blind for a couple seconds.

I dont remember how I found that out.

I really do not reccomend pushing your eyes as they were not made to have that done to them.

It was soo bizzare. I kept blinking, thinking that my vision would readjust.. but it didn't. Just a bunch of clear circly starlike objects completely covered my vision. I kept looking around the bathroom- which I coulldn't see- but the light contrast wasn't changing. So for 5 seconds I was blind in my bathroom and my head felt competey lightweight.... scary...

That happens to me if i stand up fast once in awile, but only quickly. It happens more so when you have a fevor for some reason. I went blind for a good 5-10 seconds quite a few times and felt lightheaded with that pattern.

I also have that happen when I stand up fast, but I usually recover from it pretty quickly.

I guess I'm not cut out for First Aid, though. I had started doing some studying on it and some of the things were making me feel a bit queazy. One morning I had to get up a little earlier than usual because my grandma had a doctor's appointment. We also decided to grab breakfast afterward. Well it seems Tired+Empty Stomach+First Aid book does not add up well at all. We had just pulled out of the driveway when my stomach just started killin me. Then next thing I know my vision starts going black at the edges. I tried hard to focus on something in the car but it didn't stop the blackness from covering my vision completely. I had already to my grandma that I wasn't feeling well when we pulled out. Then when I told her I couldn't see anything, she turned the car around and went back to the house. I got my vision back once we hit the bump in the driveway. I stayed home after that and put the First Aid book away.

The whole thing must have lasted about 5 seconds I guess. It was an interesting experience, though a bit scary. I knew my eyes were open but I couldn't even see my hand that I was holding out in front of me. Maybe someday I'll try picking up the First Aid book and studying it again.

I was thinking about standing up really fast after you did that Jessica. No blood to your head?

A common reason people tend to lose vision or black out is a lack of oxygen. Throwing up, you're not really focused on breathing so you have a shortage of air and when you press on your eyeballs you're cutting off circulation which makes your vision go black. The last time I gave blood I didn't have much to eat or drink (because they made me wait so long) and when it was over I nearly passed out before managing to tell someone about it. That's why when you get that feeling it is a good idea to sit/lay down so that way blood can more easily transport oxygen to the brain.

Not one of O'nus's enlightening speeches, but hey, I do what I can.
