      Weird thoughts

This has nothing to do with dreaming but ill ask it anyway. Ive lately started noticing that ive been getting these weird like thoughts lately. Like for example id be in a restaurant and id think what would happen if i yelled all sorts of curse words right now. I can feel myself about to act on the thought but then i keep my self in check. I can feel my control getting worse tho. What do u all think it is and i should do?

I think thats just normal..the "what if" stuff. I used to have thoughts like those, but then they stopped. You say that you started losing control though? you probably should do something about that..dunno what though..phychiatrist maybe if you think its neccesary.

whenever those thoughts pop up, try to think about something else or daydream a little bit.

EDIT: oh and im going to move this to the lounge

Talk to people about it. Or write down your problems and feelings (and you can write them down when they begin to occur/ or talk to your friends when it occurs). Don't hid up your feelings... try to release them.

Sometimes we can all have what is called 'intrusive thoughts'. They are simply thoughts that come from no where and you dont know why you had them. My best advice would be to just let them drift by, dont get attached. If they do however get to hard to handle or worse i would seek some help with a psychologist. Take Care.

      Peace Sensi.

Some people attribute thoughts like these to Satan. When someone says 'the devil made me do it...' don't believe them. (usually) It's the devil that plants the ideas in your head, and you who decides whether to carry them out.

To me, this is a nice metaphor to explain the way evil thoughts can pop up in ANYONE's head.

when i was younger, like 7 and symptoms of scitzofreinia first started becoming apperant i had very similar experiances, first it was only strong thoughts that seemed alien to my own, then one day at home i lost control and started hitting my brother, but it felt like i wasnt me throwing the punches, but i learned that if you change the thoughts you do fell control over then the other will change to, for example

You think about hitting someone one day, then the alien thoughts follows later like a ripple effect
But if you changed all your concoius thoughts to positive ones, then soon the forien thoughts follow.

hope i helped in some way

      Peace

Most people form all acsross the world, all ages and sex have 'intrusive thoughts'. The more disterbing they are the stronger they become. Most people don't notice or dissmiss the thoughts very quickly others get attached to the thought because it can be disterbing.

For example if you absolutelty hated racism and you heard someone say ****** this may get into your mind. Then when you saw a person from a different race from your own, that thought could come up because it disterbs you. You dont agree with it, it makes you feel bad etc. This is how intrusive thoughts work. The more disterbed you are by it the more frequent it will come. If you dont get attached, just letting it float by it hopefully will stop.

      Peace Sensi.

Wouldn't it be similar to a smoker or drug addict, when they have given up. Thoughts on just getting one more high or something, sort of different but on the same concept.
Heh, wonder if criminals use that as an excuse

Being insane? Yes, you can "get off" jail sentences for say, murdering somebody, if reputable doctors can confirm that either:

      A) You were driven to do it by an irresistible force
      B) You weren't really doing it, it was just you being mad
      C) Some other stuff I forgot

But you'd probably end up in years of a lunatic asylum instead.

You probably can't get off jail sentences, but rather get your sentence reduced or spent at a medical institution...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

      no idea why. . . .
that's really common for a person w/ OCD - Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
      u might wanna get tested. . .

I have it.. . . it's been an ordeal to deal w/, especially right now, cause i'm not taking any medication.

the random thoughts don't really bother me anymore, u get used to it.. ..
Once u realize that u'll never actually give in them.. . .

but if there's other stuff goin on in your head.. . u might wanna talk to someone
They say dreaming is dead and noone does it anymore. It's not dead, it's just been forgotten, removed from our language. Nobody teaches it, so nobody knows it exists. .. waking life

Yes, you get sent to a big fat hairy asylum, obviously. But at least you don't go to a big fat hairy jail where big fat hairy people keep sweating everywhere.

like standing next to a ledge, thinking "jump", and in your mind you can feel yourself jumping, and it seems like you almost do...you aren't suicidal, you aren't crazy, and you sure as hell don't want to jump. eh, I dunno. guess it's normal.

Thoughts like these, can be so powerful sometimes, you have to wonder of they're intented origin and outcome?
