Well youre forgetting the effects on your brain... Tobacco is legal because it doesnt mess up your perception. However, someone high on pot will be more likely to not see an old lady walking across the street and will crash into them...

in Canada there is a political party called the Marijuana Party

correction: marijuana may be decrimainalized for cases of posssesion under 50grams. it is stil illegal to grow and sell marijuana and even posses it. if caught with less then 50g then you will still get a ticket and a fine, so it is not even decriminalized more like de-felonized or somethin.

I don't completely remember why well enough to explain it, but if the entire U.S legalizes pot completely, as for commercial sale, then there would be massive economic consequences that would basically screw up world economy in many ways...I don't quite remember how, though

Nah, it had to do with how much money with invested in the Narc business and all...if they legalize it the price should drop excesively due to the fact that if it is legal there won't be as much trouble smuggling it through. Basically, that would collapse that part of the drug industry, which at the same time is connected to world economy in so many ways...

maybe alaska, i'm not sure what rulings are federal or state.

pot is so close to being decrimmed in canada, that you won't get charged for possession under 15 grams

I really don't mind if they legalize it or what, as long as people don't start blowing the drug in my face or whatever - I live perfectly fine without them (drugs), and I don't mind if other people want to go get stoned or whatever. As long as it dosen't damage me in the process. Or my beautiful pricless pink porcelain poodle (I named it polly).

Either that or it fucks them up real good...I've seen many cases of this.

I am not saying that it should be illegal or anything, but I do know that it's main purpose is not to "wake people up". I feel very awoken and enlightened, most of the times, and I know many people that smoke pot that are completely lost. I guess it's all about what you use it for, but in the end it truly isn't half as important as what you can do with the rational abilities you have been given. If you aren't meant to wake up, nothing will do it, and if you are, then nothing is necesary...just time
