well i dont have a sourse i could give you, but i saw it on the news briefly, and my mum has a friend whos husband is a police officer and he told her all about it.and he was saying that all the police hate the idea/

I searched the net and all I've been able to find on your story was this. It was published recently and it seems that you may have misunderstood what the story was about. Police aren't being allowed into the force immediately through payment, they are just being required to pay for their training.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt on this and just assume you misunderstood the story hearing it from your second source.

ok, i watched the news, and i though that it said that, but when my mum came to me with the information i just told you, i assumed i had missunderstood what they were saying on the news, so i went with what my mum said, but i guess i should have went with my first instinct.

but even this, paying for training, that sucks, i dont want to bloody pay. but i still will because its my dream job. but that sucks a lot.

This is great, you don't even list you're sources. Europe's system is much less embarrassing than hours, so I really doubt they are doing this in England, though lately they have been making some funky changes like high phone bill costs when calling the hospital, but no one in their right mind would have it so people can pay money to be a cop (though it really doesn't take much more effort to complete training to be one...except for the pepper spray part...ouch)

ok my source was scotland today on channel 3.

police training isnt easy. i take it your talking about america, in america you dont have to pass a fitness test, or at least a hard one eanyway, am i right?
here, the training is worse, you have to pass a strict fitness test, and the actual training you get treated as if your in the army (thats exageration, but close enough) and i also think you get repeatedly fitness tested throughout your career. you will very very rarely see a fat policeman here, but in america im sure theres tons.

Most cops are dicks with an over inflated sense of what is right and wrong. They love to administer punishment to those who do not follow laws, even the most obscure and ridiculous ones. Cops don't even think about the laws they enforce, they are just happy to get people in shit.

Prime example: I recently got a $150 dollar fine for not paying $2.25 to ride the subway (I was just going over 1 station. I would literally be on the train for 1-2 minutes). My reason was that I had no change, and there is no way to pay with debit, or even insert a bill into a machine for change. It's not very accommodating, I usually just carry my debit card in my front pocket and that's all I need for the rest of the fucking world. Ofcourse the assholes have to check everything I have on me, and search my shit and pat me down in the middle of the subway, throw in their smart-ass comments (after he finished patting me down my pants were riding pretty low and his partner tells me to pull my pants up.

All cops are mindless pigs.

they havent brought tazers into use yet here, but they recently brought training for them in some places in britain.
