      UGH, Stupid boy scout crap!

Ok, so theres this merit badge "Personal Fitness" That is eagle required.
Meaning you have to have that merrit badge to become the highest rank in boy scouts, the eagle scout.
Anyways, requierment 7. Basicaly says, you have to follow a work out plan for 12 weeks.
blah blah blah, I have been off and on on doing this for a while.
I finaly made my own Spreedsheet and a custom work-out plan, wich I will follow for 12 weeks and get the badge! But my stupid mom, wants me to just fill it out and date it backwards to make it look like I did it! Her excuse is "You have done it a million times!"
And I try to tell her, "Mom the a scout is trustworthy, I want to do it right! Right now starting now." And she gets mad, screws up her facts, and is left with nothing to say because my logic beats hers! And then when this happens she just says "Fine what ever! just do it over then!" So I am doing it over.
then the next meeting comes around, and that means I have started the schedule for about 1 week, and asks if its done.
I say no, then the conversation happens again!
I am just going to Fill it all out now, bring it to scouts, and tel them what my mom said to do. Sound good?

Cheating negates the base principles of being a Scout. Be the bigger man here and do it right. You'll feel better for it.

I cheated on Personal Management (I was 12 and didn't have a job, so I did virtually no work for it. I recorded a few transactions though) but did the rest the proper way. I have enough badges for my first two palms, but haven't done the project yet.

      What rank are you?

I have not started personal manigment yet, but I think it will be fun because I have a spreadsheet thing..
so yeah. Ill end up using some kinda computer based personal manigment system to make it easier.

      Awesome!

I have a few friends who went through the eagle scout process, one very, very shortly before his 18th(?) birthday. That's sort of the cut-off, right?

      Best of luck!

      Lol. Boyscouts.

MOS: I don't think it's possible to be a man in boyscouts XD

Be cool, ditch boyscouts and join ROTC if your highschool has it. It's more fun and the ranks are a lot cooler. Before I left my old highschool I was ranked Master Sergeant. Whenever I'd wear my uniform people would call me Sergeant.

Boy Scouts are great since they openly don't allow in fags or atheists which is of course the supreme way to foster important values such as intolerance and separatism in the American youth!

Yeah MOS I think I speak for everybody when I say stfu (I wuv you)

But seriously, Albert Einstein (not really) once said "If ever given the option, always cheat, unless you'll get caught."

There are tons of little obstacles in life that must be done but have nothing to do with becoming a man. One of these obstacles is paperwork. If you do the work, get the job done, then what the paperwork actually says is meaningless. I mean, unless you need an alibi for murder.

"No, I couldn't have killed that guy, I was busy doing jumping jacks, I got the documentation right here!"

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

I have to agree with that. I cheated my way through biology class simply because I was terrible at remembering things like the difference between Mitosis and Meiosis. My brain doesn't work like that. Thing was, I would only cheat whenever I knew I was completely doomed on a certain topic. I am never going to need that knowledge of biology contrary to what they kept trying to tell me, and I wasn't too keen on letting that class drag down my GPA any more.

I was an extraordinarily good cheater. Teachers alway saying they knew every trick in the book, but I never ever got caught, though many of my comrades did. Hell, I'd give people who weren't as good as me on subjects like Math pointers on cheating. I told the girl who sat next to me, "You should write down the problems on a separate piece of paper and ask the teacher if you can finish the test the next day. Figure the problems out at home and bring them back."

Being both (though still in a double-layered closet, to my parents at least) I can honestly say it's not that bad (at least in my troop). I've never met a prejudiced scout before at camps or anything, but at the same time I can't deny that it's a christian organization. However what's taught (or at least what I've learned) is much more then petty christian bullshit and I'm actually kind of glad my dad wanted me to do it, it's been a great experience.

I dropped out of Boy Scouts right after I turned 15 because all of my troop friends except for two had quit by then since they were so old. It was me, two guys my age, and a buch of little shits who just graduated from being Weblos. Also, getting my driver's license gave me a whole new weekend agenda. So I quit with the rank of Star, which is two ranks below Eagle. So do what I never did... Get your Eagle rank. You can go the rest of your life knowing you pulled off that difficult accomplishment, and it really does mean something to employers (and socialites, in case that matters to you).
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

Well dang. That sucks for you. If you like Boy Scouts, you would have loved ROTC.

Would you by chance happen to be an Evangelical Christian?

And finally, lol @ 100 mile trek.

Well actually ya, you'd have to get rid of your mohawk. But then again, you don't want to keep your mohawk forever, do you?

Man, that's crazy. Depending on the job, that may or may not be ridiculous. What kind of job was it?

He is now the maniger at a place were they fix cars lol.
      And hes really stupid!
Like his car window is broken, so he has a screw driver stuck in it to jam it closed.
And I was like "Dude, why dont you get a wedge piece of wood or something instead of using a screw driver?" then he said "bleeh A screw driver works *Insert hillbilly smile here)"
I said "Yeah but a wedge is alot cheaper and you dont need to use a wedge for anything"
And he dint say anything just smiled retardidly again.
And I said "Or you could fix it"
