It's funny that a lot of them are so confident with their answers. And the guy in that couple who kinda tries to show off his knowledge yammering away about google and yahoo.

For the people who don't know here is what the difference is.

Browser: The program that you use to surf the internet like Internet Explorer, or Firefox.

Search Engine: Websites you use to search for information like google.

Not entirely correct. A browser is a graphical user interface (like Firefox, IE, Opera, Chrome) that allows one to navigate files on a computer or over a network, which includes the internet.
When you open a file on your computer, the window you are looking at is a browser.

I'm using Chrome right now. I'm only using it because FireFox has been crashing on me lately. It's much faster though.

Just looked and not available for Mac's yet. Goddammit, I'm starting to sort of regret buying this Mac now solely because of lack of good software, especially free shit. Even though it kicks the shit out of PC's and goddamned Windows.

Anyway 'spose no point getting something else when firefox is working fine for me right now anyway. Although it does crash a fair bit....

Once Adblock, Flashblock and Greasemonkey become available as plugins to Chrome, I will give it a go and probably switch entirely... once it's fully available on Ubuntu, in the repos.
