But seriously... Is it possible?

You can learn new/improve skills, but dunno about learning new languages lol.
Sweet... So if, say I download some stuff off of youtube like some super genius explaining complicated Trigonometry and algebra... will I eventually learn it after a while if I listen to it in my sleep with earphones on?
Lol. Most likely not. Stephen LaBerge has a section on learning/improving on skills in EWOLD I think.
Oh ok. I was really hoping I could incorporate some kind of sleep learning. :[
I'm afraid that's a negative on sleep learning. Check out this article from Skeptical Inquirer:
The Cargo-Cult Science of Subliminal Persuasion
As the title indicates, it is mainly concerned with subliminal persuasion in general (or more precisely, the way it is popularly conceived). It spends a fair amount of time discussing the so-called subliminal self help tapes that you seem to be referring to.
As for dream learning, such as while lucid dreaming, the jury is still out but it's typically accepted by lucid dreamers that certain skills can be improved upon to a degree -- the most commonly cited "skill" being managing anxiety in social situations, particularly public speaking/performance.
So you can't learn ANYTHING in your sleep?
It's pretty hard to learn when you're unconscious.
