So who here is investing in the stock market? I am. And I'm doing quite well with it too. |

I do, to a certain degree... |

My family has had stock in US Bancorp since the Great Depression, or at least that's the way the story goes. Grandpa kept all of his money in USB and kept the bank from going under, so they gave him stock. |

The Emperor Wears No Clothes: The book that everyone needs to read."If the words "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" don't include the right to experiment with your own consciousness, then the Declaration of Independence isn't worth the hemp it was written on."- Terence McKenna
How much capital did you have to invest in the first place to get that $700 return, Phrisco? |

I pulled out when George Bush became president, best financial decision I ever made. I still own some Disney stock, but not much. I will renter the market when the war in Iraq ends, as that's when the economy will start going back up. |

I ♥ DREAMVIEWS. I always have, and I always will. There is nothing else to it.
It's all about the bonds, baby. Sure, less imediate gratification. But gradual returns are not only better in the long run, they are more profitable from a taxes standpoint. Get a bond from the right place and you can feel good about a stable investment where you can count on the amount of money that you will make, you aren't just rolling dice. You will get your interest, your residuals, and your principle all back in cold hard cash baby. |

Converted all to dollarz too, but I'm currently purchasing stock at an option price of 35p (57¢). I buy £150 ($245) worth each month. Current price is 70p ($1.14) and rising - it's a 3 year option, so should hopefully make a killing at the end. Simple maths really: 150 x 12 x 3 / .35 = 15,428 shares after 3 years |
