Is this UFO clip real or a hoax?
Something tells me it's too good to be true... Even with it zooming off at the end. Oh well, I figured I show it to you guys to see what you think.

Never thought about the sky, I just thought the camera was bad.
What do you mean by interacting with the environment? It looked to me it was passing behind the trees, but I will admit on some of those pauses it looked like it was in front.
It probably is a hoax. If I was filming this I would've kept it zoomed in the entire time. Plus the camera wasn't jittery like you would expect it to be.

Augh, terribly artificial camera wobble, terrible CGI tree. Did they think they could fool everyone by compressing the video file to make it look like a shitty camcorder vid?

at OP, I think the camera shaking was added in, because it is just too exaggerated and it just generally looks like a fake shake.
And the bit where it shoots off, it kinda looks bad too.
The UFO itself also looks fake.
But, this is after watching it a few times. At a first watch, it is impressive effects.

I think it could be a modified frisbee that flies slow. Combined with some CG at the end. If you look at the timer, the video is going about 1/2 speed. It's possible to get a flying disc to move that slow if you speed up the video to real-time.
Good find. Whoever made it was pretty clever, but I've done this myself with trick photography.
