looking for forum topic ideas

Anyone have any forum topic ideas to fit under the new "Off-Topic Discussion" category? I'm just looking for a couple more, other than the two current ones. The "Senseless Banter" forum is not really to promote rambling; rather, it's kind of to encourage those that insist on changing the subject of threads to instead take their ramblings there. Probably won't work of course. Also, as mentioned in the Feedback section, people have suggested a forum for tutorials. Anyone feel like writing some, or know of some that we could "borrow" from the internet? I found a lengthy dream FAQ that I might put up in the near future.

Also, as mentioned in the Feedback section, people have suggested a forum for tutorials.[/b] I think that's an EXCELLENT idea! as for the sensless banter...I know people may disagree with me, but I don't think that's the best idea. to me it just seems liek a place for trolls/whores to raise their count. now, I've never seen anyone whoring/trolling here, but trust me, you DON'T want a hazmat.

I don't think we have to worry much about trolls. Trolls=idiots. Idiots don't have the patience to put up with lucid dreaming. Quiters. I could see it being mildly abused and it seems to me that the members here know the difference between rambling and spamming. So I really see little problem with it. As for additional boards I think maybe one board on politics/religion. I'm not sure how that would fly though. It would probably induce flame wars (something I havent seen here yet). On second thought I'll leave it to more experienced members, it isnt often that I join a message board hence I have little experience.

Politics..religion seems ok..as long as members dont start to dislike eachother because of diffirences of belief or ethics..or whatsoever

I was aware of that possibility, but I've noticed threads like this on other boards, and it doesn't seem too bad. I thought it may just be a place that provides opportunity to, I dunno, release silliness? It also provides me with a forum to move completely inane threads; I was hoping it would lead \"The Lounge\" to becoming a little more...sophisticated? I tgink we should just move the crap that turns into senseless (OMG TEH DAMN INSERT KEY!!!1) banter in there and lock it, but thats just me (duh). This is a lucid dreaming forum, not religion forum. Tutorials would be a kick ass idea... I like everything the way it is, it is very friendly now. It's the friendlist forum I've ever been on, which is awesome.

ok maybe not politics but religion plays a big role in some people's dreams. and i wouldn't hate someone because of their religion, or a conversation about their religion. but thats just me, i can't speak for others.

I think Philosofy, at least mine, is always going to end up with religion again. I gues thats the case with many things cocerning ethics,morals,theories and so on and so forth

i believe rant and senseless banter could be "merged" and no one would be the wiser. entertainment could also be merged with art. just my thoughts, if you wanted to clean up the boards. i dont think we have enough members yet to support so many forums. i deffinatly like them though

This isn't my idea. Lowercase Society suggested it and I thought I would document it for him. How about a FIRST TIME topic. A place where people can post their first lucid dream. As of now, they are going into the Lucid experiences topic. I thought Junior had a good idea.
