Thread: School project coming up, need ideas

Communism. It's a guarunteed A+, 100%. Nah, but seriously, it's quite a topic to get into a project about. You can tackle it's history, the uses in history, propaganda, idealogy at an unbiased point. Basically, don't look like a commie, but don't look like an incarnation of McCarthy, either (stay focused being impartial and you'll probably get that A). Good luck, though.

How about, can the average kid survive playing 70 hours straight of World of Warcraft without falling dead?

No... I doubt it, depriving him of water for that long will get him killed. There are many interesting subjects, I did my project recently on attraction, but no one thought I was doing it on sexual attraction and not some crap like gravity or the poles. The laser is also ok. Sexual organs is alot of fun, good to learn too. You could do it on politics, a breakdown of the social pyramid of high school, someone's/a band's biography... anything that interests you, dreams are still a very good subject too.

I'm doing an English project about James Randi. I'm hoping the teacher believes in psyhic powers and alternative medicine during in her private life, so I can watch her face go super-red every other page... I should buy a James Randi.

Thanks for the ideas. But things that have to do with politics SERIOUSLY bore me. Anything else anyone?

How about something to do with outer space? Star trails? Nebulae?

If you didn't have the project, what would you be doing with that time otherwise?

lucid dreaming is too obvious a suggestion, so I may as well suggest you research post modernism cause I once had to, and it turned out to be rather interesting. Or school drop outs. Or why spiders have eight legs, but spiderman only has like...2! And why his arms don't count as legs...it is all very intriguing indeed

You could do it on the history of pornography, I hear that's interesting. Or the history of sex, that really is interesting. I recently learned that they used dildos a long way back, the cavemen used bones and other stuff as dildos.

Well, what do you want to do after you finish with school? You can always research something pertaining to that so you don't have to do it later in life.
