Showers

Ok so i have a shower 5-9 times a week. My house used to be very cold but me being a fast adapter that i am i adapted fast to it but since i got a heat pump i keep getting urges to have showers just before bed, which leads to me having 2 showers a night on some nights. When i have these showers i HAVE to change the temperature to icey cold. I start off at the hotest it can get, then i am standing there feeling as if i am in heaven all warm and cozy, sometimes it feels better being under a hot shower then my nice warm Duvei(sp?). After a while i change it to a super cold shower that i can JUST barly stand, and then i really feel like i am in heaven.

it feels so great when cold water from the shower hits your head and falls down, and your mouth fills with a mouthfull of water every few seconds. Then to end the shower i put it to the hotest i can get it again. These night showers feel a million times better then the morning showers i take before i head off to work, or the real world. Does anyone else get these urges? i normally spend 20 minutes showering. With these night showers, i am no longer cold for the rest of the night.

JUST this morning I was thinking about how heavenly showers are. I don't have your technique and mine usually don't take more than 10 minutes but I take about 2 every day. 1 in the morning and 1 after my run in the afternoon. Nothing better.

Seems most people thing of showers as "heavenly". Personally, I think of them as "purgatorily". As soon as I get in, I want nothing more than to get out so that I can do other things.

Yet, ironically, every shower I take is at least a half hour long. I guess the hot water makes me sluggish and the steam lethargic.

I love boiling lava showers.

My showers are typically around 45 minutes. But I'm a girl, and have 24" long hair that needs to be shampooed & conditioned. Plus legs, arms, and other things to shave. I don't understand how some guys can spend so long in the shower. I have this one guy friend that takes hour long showers. I mean...what the hell is he doing in there!? It doesn't take an hour to make jellyfish.

I take long showers, because I have somewhat long hair to wash, and some things to shave...

Well, I never feel like taking showers, but when I am in there, it is relief! Finally, the first time of the day that I'm actually warm (I am always so cold!). I also have a little heater in the bathroom, so even when I'm done, I don't get that super cold feeling!

I also occasionally like to take baths in our awesome huge tub. With jets and bubbles! Those bubbles multiply!

Now I wanna take a shower/bath! And I will tonight

I love showers, only thing is my parents constantly yell at me to have quick ones due to water restrictions. We're supposed to shower for something like 5-8 minutes which I personally think is impossible, I usually go around 10 mins or so which is nothing compared to some of you guys. Would love 30 min showers....

Does anyone ever take pitch black showers? Sometimes I come home from bball at night, turn of all the lights, and shower with absolutely 0 light! Highly recommend it, its awesome.

One time I was taking a shower during a storm and the electricity went out. At first I was frightened but once I calmed down and let my eyes adjust a bit, I really enjoyed it. I have a friend who loves taking showers in the dark. I should try this again.

Holy crap I know. My showers (on days I don't go to school) are like 2 minutes long. All it is, is shampoo, bodywash, done!

But on school days, now that's another story...

I also like cupping water into my hand and splashing my face. Has a pretty nice feeling to it, depending on your body temp. Perferably in the summer time. In the winter, the cold water is just down right cold.

While I agree, it takes longer because it's wet and there isn't any stimulation, and the shower itself is 15 minutes.
I either take cold or hot showers, and I mean either freezing cold or boiling hot. Usually takes around 10 minutes, I have medium length hair so that doesn't take long.

I shower every morning. Takes me about ten mins. I don't think they are especially wonderful or terrible, but I hate being dirty, so I take one every day.

I take 20-30 minute showers, and often take one right before bed to warm up, since my current room has no insulation and so even with the heater running, is quite cold where the (sofa) bed is. I do have longish hair to shampoo, but honestly, I just enjoy the warmth (scalding heat).

I like my showers like I like my women: hot, wet, and late at night.

I have short hair, skinned on the sides, and almost skinned on the top. Short hair rules! haircut every 3 weeks.

I spend about half an hour in the shower, I like the nice and warm and it makes me sleepy before bed.

showers are great! I have a shower in my bathroom that has the shower head that you can remove and use like a hose or whatever, and also a big showerhead from above(i think its referred to as like a sprinkler head or like a waterfall head or something). But most of the shower has water falling down on it, so its cool. I usually sit down in my shows and sometimes even fall asleep if its early in the morning haha.

Baths are nice too, but the water gets cold if you stay in too long.
