Ugh, I hate these old shows.
That acting made me want to punch koala bears.
I meant that it made me want to punch...erm...chickens. Not koala bears.
That's the best I can do.
The red headed girl in the still is Molly Ringwald from The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles.
... Is that video supposed to be based on "A Rose for Emily?"
They could have at least wrote in something mildly creative.Quote:
From now on I'm going to stick to being high on me.
I was just about to comment on that Catbus, lol. How old is this thing?
Sony is racist to Canadians :(
:barf:
The thing about being "high on me" is the most cringe worthy part of the whole minisode, aside from the paper about the Sundae. That is where the utter ignorance showed the most.
It is from either 1979 or 1980. Molly Ringwald was only there for the first season. But she ended up running circles around the other girls later by getting several classic movie roles and becoming one of the main members of the Brat Pack. The Facts of Life was a spinoff from Diff'rent Strokes, which first aired in 1978. The house mom on The Facts of Life was the Drummonds' house keeper for the first season on Diff'rent Strokes, and she got her spinoff the next year.
Somebody please download it and reupload it.
Everyone was high during the 80's. Only explanation for why they dressed the way they did.
I don't know, I've never been pressured, pressured anyone, or seen or heard of anyone I know being pressured to smoke pot. I know that kinda stuff goes on, but not all the time. In fact I'd be willing to bet it's far less common than most would have you believe.
Than America will have you believe, you mean. At least over here in the Netherlands there's extremely little pressure, maybe in certain groups... but pretty much everyone I've met that smokes the green (myself included) has never actually pressured anyone into smoking.
....
Roflrolflrl.
Meh, getting high was fun back sophomore year but then it slowly lost its interest with me. That's when I turned to meth...
