      3D everything

Is everything going to be in 3D soon?

Right now it's still pretty expensive. Once 120Hz monitors that can show polarized light become mainstream, we will probably hear more about this. Right now this is just for hardcore people, who have a very good computer and a lot of money

Don't you guys think this will have an enormous impact on how people dream? They say people who grew up watching black & white television dream in black & white. I find that fascinating, because I honestly can't ever recall having a b&w dream, where as my parents have trouble recalling a dream in color. Imagine how much more immersive people's dreaming will become when they grow up watching everything in 3d. Maybe? And I wonder what effect this will have on the ability to become lucid?

I think, if anything, it'll make dreams easier to incubate.

It's one thing to Google images of underwater caves before bed. It's another altogether to exploooooore them. Leaves a greater imprint, y'know?

Wow that's a very good point Nina!

Although I think dreams are already as immersive as possible, but it might as Abra said, make them easier to incubate.

      Hmmmm....

Possibly a Lucid Dreaming game? Reality Checks etc. Would be insanely good compared to a 2D one because it would capture the mind more etc. Would work wonderfully with technology like that holographic sound that you posted a thread about the other day. Damn! I'm having a nerdgasm just thinking about it!

I would love to see everything in 3D. (Not that I don't already..) But I mean like television, computer and video games, every movie! Technology is so great. But sometimes, it's too good, even for us.

Yeah they need to make holograms next though. You could go in to the movie scenes etc. Would be intense.
