      Oh man, I totally forgot about this thread.

      Anyone who passes judgement on someone for having sex with a robot is an idiot (ahem, deery). Who the hell are you to say what is right or wrong? Maybe there is someone out there who is really disfigured and lonely and cannot get any companionship? Fuck you, that's what.

      Anyway, that aside this kind of freaks me out a little bit. The first artificial intelligences to surpass the 'uncanny valley' (or whatever the fuck the proper term is) will be sex bots or military bots... likely the former since it's a lot cheaper to send biological people off to die for a stupid cause. It's just something about our sexual desires driving technology that freaks me out. This is reality, and it's happening now.
