That is just crazy. Oh and really scary to a person who suffers from insomnia. Man that would sux if that happened to me. I've been awake since 4am not being able to sleep. Oh please do not let that be my fate......ha ha ha.

I guess you could get a lot of shit done and be real productive? I find if i don't sleep enough i get real fragile. He seems sweet. Wow thats just weird.

Well, I would geuss working under such conditions would equate to downing some NyQuil before operating a heavy-lift crane...in other words, you wouldn't be productive but actually counter-productive.

Well it depends on what you mean by being productive. He says when everyone is asleep he just gets into reading a good book. That's 20 years of reading when most people would not get those extra hours to read. So it could be productive to him? Depends on what he reads i guess.

hrm. the body needs sleep as an absolute necessity; it certainly isn't just a time to dream (or practice lucid dreams

) as i'm sure most of us know. i'd imagine being completely unable to achieve sleep would have some serious detrimental effects. obv. if sleep wasn't required it wouldn't be part of the body's natural process at all...unless, of course, this man is the next link in our evolution.

As far as I know if you never slept you would go insane and die. That added with the fact that he still cant sleep with the use of any medication makes me think the story isn't real.
