      Freaking resistors

      In electronics class, I was building a simple Railroad lights circuit. I decided to remove a 16K Ohms Resistor while nine volts ran through it. When electricity runs through resistors, electrical energy is turned into heat. I remembered that just when my fingers started to hurt REAL bad.

      I have a black mark and part of my fingerprint burned off.

      Frickin' laws of physics....

      I never got to play around much with electronics, but I think that 16K ohms is a fairly large resistor.
