I rezised your picture for you I hope that's ok?
Sammy is really cute :D
I have always wanted a slightly smaller dog, however, therefore, when I get a place of my own and enough money, I'm buying myself a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I've known several, they rock.
Edit: My beautiful golden retriever died on the morning of Sunday, February 13th...she had to be put to sleep because she was suffering from incurable cancer of the liver and bladder...
:damnit:
Here's my little bundle of love. :D
My Chinny Chin.
Doesn't he look like an ewok?

Calling her a "pet" would be just shy of an insult. To quote many of you already - she's "the best".

Paperdoll, I love your cat.... almost as much as I love mine  However, my cat is at my boyfriend's house because we moved and my parents didn't want to pay the pet deposit and take care of them. However, just for the record my first cat, Misty, died in the drier. It's sad, but it's kind of a funny story to tell people.

*whiny voice*tell us the story!
Well, it was when I was in 3rd grade. I was at school and my dad had come home from work for lunch. He decided to do some laundry, but hadn't realized that lil' Misty had looked for a nice warm place to sleep. So, he threw the clothes into the drier and walked away. Then, he started smelling something coming from the laundry room and noticed that the cat was missing. So, he went into the room and put on some very heavy electric gloves, knowing that if she was still alive she was not going to be happy. Alas, when he opened the drier door, she was not. So he took her out and put her in the trash and took it out. My parents broke it to us gently, but I distincly remember that my mom cried green tears when she was telling us because she'd had her eyes dialated at the optometrists.
So yah, that's the story. So, tell it to your kids and make sure to check your driers for stray pets before loading clothes.

Tornado Joe - love that first pik, reminds me of my first dog and what a beautiful river too.
I have a dog, she is just the most amazing dog. Unfortunately she dose not live with me anymore which sux. She lives in the South Island. Last time I saw her was really weird she literally cried tears. She was jumping all over me kinda squealing happily and tears welled up in her eyes. Big drops came out. This happened on 3 different occasions while I was visiting. Hmmm, that’s weird, do dogs actually cry? I miss her. Pets are great.
Peace Sensi.
aww..thats so sad..your mom crying green tears is a bit odd though o_O
Sensi, I hope my pictures didn't make you cry. I couldn't imagine living without my dog, but I almost had to give her up. The thought alone was enough to make me cry.
It sounds like you still get to visit, though which is great.
That is strange about animals tearing, though. It's not a matter of them having the emotion to cry, I just thougth they didn't have tear ducts like humans did. Still, it's nice to know they never forget you.
sweet, must raise a lot of questions eh?Quote:

Hey Tornado Joe, Na they didn't make me cry. Just brought back good memories of my first dog.
Yeah I really do miss my dog she was just the coolest companion to have around. It is good that I still get to see her although last time I went down south I asked what she was like after I left, if it distressed her etc. The person who has her now said she always whimpers and cries after I leave. They have to take her for a walk to distract her then she is sweet.
I know she loves seeing me but I do not like knowing that when I leave it is stressful for her. Maybe it is selfish of me to go back and see her? I do not know if I want to do that to her again.
As for the tears it baffled me as I thought dogs did not cry either, maybe she just had dust in them or something, who knows?
Anyway dogs rule.
Peace Sensi.
Hey, Blue Paw, don't forget about Dutch Paw! I imagine he'd be your favorite pet, no?
