How well can you see? Slightly better than what the doctors call perfect.

Any interesting conditions regarding your eyes? Pupils are slightly off center of the iris.
How do you like them? Lots. I like them lots.

Any significance to you? Do you notice the eyes of friends... and is there any meaning that you can find in eyes?

What colour are they? Darkest brown ever. Black until up close.
What colour would you like them to be? They're the only colour that suits me, I think. I'm fine with them.
How well can you see? I started wearing glasses recently. My vision is crappy and I have astigmatism.
Do you wear coloured lenses? No. But I did a few years ago when my vision used to be good. I have reason to believe the contacts fucked my vision.
Any interesting conditions regarding your eyes? I'm nearly blind in one way and mediocre in the other. I always thought their edges looked kinda weird.

Any interesting conditions regarding your eyes? Glasses aren't interesting. They're dignified/sexy/defining. Although. I suppose having one eye almost always looking half-closed might be notable. Like the lower lid keeps lifting for the squint and the upper lid is like what, no. It makes me look lazy or bored. Which isn't quite the Clint Eastwood squint I might want.
How do you like them? Very muchly.

I know someone with really dark hazel eyes like that... they look crazy in direct sunlight! I'll try and get a pic of my eyes up too!

edit: Here's a pic I just took... my eyes are pretty bright today. Almost golden. Normally they're more earth brown/green/grey. I'll post another pic in a day or two when it get's dark again.

They actually change, depending on the lighting or my clothing I think, but it stays in the Green, Blue, or Grey regions.

I like when people's eyes change color because I notice patterns connected to their mood sometimes. They're significant because they are one of the few parts of a person's expression that cannot be easily masked and I find that fascinating. Also, it's awesome the way that an eyeball out of it's socket is always one simple shape, but how so many expressions can be achieved with only subtle changes to the surrounding muscles.

My research professor is a flighty young genius with powdery lake eyes with pupils that never seem to change size--you can tell he hasn't faced much hardship, financial nor personal. My roommate has sharp blue eyes, but they can change to flighty blue in an instant if ever something goes amiss at her fault. It's not always about the color, but also the dilation, the lid, whether or not they wear makeup, the wrinkles around the brows. My mother has very nearly the same eyes as me in color, but more, darker brown. Sometimes I'll find people with matching eyes, eyes just like mine (not in color, mind you, but that other quality), and everything about them feels familiar, as if I've met them before, and they feel it, too.

Probably, I'm simply describing qualities of people I know and applying it to their eyes. The eyes are important, though. Making eye contact with someone means you can know them, if that makes any sense at all. I can gauge the flavor of their fears by other means (gait, bearing, vocal inflection, walking speed), but their eyes usually confirm it.

I give eye contact to all of the hundreds of people I pass per day, if I have the chance. Most are looking down, or at a phone, and another bunch straight ahead, or at a friend. But some will lock eyes and smile before realizing they're smiling, and that's one of the things that makes my day worthy.

Here's a fresh one from today. I might post a picture every other day or something showing the change in colour, because normally my eyes are a dark foresty colour. I guess they decided to be gold yesterday! If I could find a way not to get the reflection in my eye you'd see that the top is always darker than the bottom for some reason as well.

Thanks! *Blush* And it really is interesting looking at human eyes... the pupil specifically shows a lot, and can't be masked. The pupil changes due to fear, arousal, confusion etc. And the muscles surrounding the eyes are so versatile... they can show so much emotion, even if the rest of the face was hidden.

My eye doctor has told me before that my eyes can REALLY adjust up close- that's a great thing with my quilling, when it's just a few inches away from my face .

I have a question for you guys regarding eyes. Most of you probably have NO clue. You know when they put that light in your eyes at the eye doctors? An uncommon thing that is true for me, is that I can see the vains in my eyes when he puts the light in my eyes. Most can't. Does anyone know if they can see the vains in their eyes from this?
