Anyone here are afraid of anything? Personally I am afraid of Clowns and creepy glass dolls... But that's just me. What are the things you are afraid of? If you are going to laugh at peoples fears. Please don't bother to answer. Thank you.

I'm afraid of my really bad night mares since I get hurt everytime I have one. Woake up with a 2 foot gash in my leg after haveing one once
Walking barefoot in murky water
I only fear fear itself.
Fear?
Anyway, spiders. Freaking hate the little things.
Anything that i have no control over off. Like being locked somewhere and knowing there is no way out.
Spoiler for These things.:
Little things which you cannot see coming, like stupid insects, ALL OF THEM, every 9 quadrillion species of them, stay off my propertay!
I would much rather deal with coyotes and things which are large and cannot sneak under darn doorways and into your bedroom to say "hello there" "waiit no don't kill me ahhh!" :squish:
darn bugs. I hate and fear them, but I squish them with fury, bwahahaha
Socializing.
And blowing up balloons. Not balloons themselves, but the act of inflating them. I've had too many explode in my face when I was a kid.
By the way, the word "balloon" is fun to type.
lol Guerilla I completely understand!
I'm afraid of roaches- ESPECIALLY the flying wood roaches.
I used to be majorly afraid of porceline dolls- or any kind of large doll. I no longer have any dolls, so it's not much of a problem :D
I'm afraid of swimming in oceans or gulfs. I'm afraid of what could be hiding in seaweed and I've been stung by too many jellyfish.
Hmmm... Traveling makes me extremely anxious. I'm afraid some sort of large scale disaster will strike and I'll be separated from my loved ones and home.
I fear torture, and I fear being afraid, which is just one reason I have never watched a horror movie.
I feel you.
ELEVATORS!!!!! :panic: I have a nightmare about being stuck in an elevator/ elevator string being detached/ elevator going too fast/ too slow/ stops and lights go out/ being trapped in an elevator shaft is more common, every week. I could go on, but you get it.
Thanks a lot! /sarcasm
I'm afraid to so much as look at them.
I used to be afraid of elevators. Every now and then I still have nightmares about them.
When I was 7, we lived in Puerto Rico, in a huge apartment/condo and the elevator always got stuck in between floors. And usually when I was by myself. The doors would open and I'd be staring at a wall and for some reason that always scared me.
It took me a long time to get over the fear, but I did.
What better reason to own a flamethrower right?
I once had a egg of spiders hatch in my room. I wouldn't sleep in my bed because at one moment I saw 10+ baby spiders crawling all over it. They were everywhere and it was horrible!
Any sort of insect/bug/thing-with-more-then-4-legs.
Top of my list would be...
Hairy Spiders;
Jumping Spiders (seriously, I swear they jump 5 metres... :shock:);
Spiders that run exceedingly quickly...
Those spiders that look like sticks... http://www.idilium.com/Australian_Wi...casting-24.jpg
Spiders that are bigger then a freakin' house; http://www.spiderzrule.com/spiderpho...spider%203.jpg
Those spiders that have big asses... http://ibexinc.files.wordpress.com/2...dow-spider.jpg
Funnel Web spiders;
Overgrown Centipedes; http://www.ipm.iastate.edu/ipm/icm/f...-soil-A1_0.jpg
BIG moths... http://birdaz.com/blog/wp-content/up...r-2007-156.bmp
I swear to god, I am never searching 'spiders' on Google Images again. Never.
:panic:
I also have this irrational fear of walking into people when they're walking in the same direction as me in public spaces... It makes me feel... Anxious.
EDIT: @The Silver Bullet- thanks so much for that... Curiousity got the better of me and I clicked it... -shudders- xD
Haha, Sorry but I had to share that one, they look more menacing than black widows .
Also, I have a small fear of waking up buried alive. You would be down there all alone with limited air and space. Not to mention all of the other creepy critters that would be crawling all over you.
interesting i have the same thing with traveling, I went to LA a while ago and had terrible fear of a big earthquake and didn't feel safe till we crossed back over the san andreas fault.
omg swimming in big open water terrifys me, I have a fear of big open spaces first off, like beaches and deserts and I hate being outdoor unless theres alot of big tall trees or something to cover the skyline and make it seem more confined, im sorta anti-claustrophobic, I need to be in closed spaces to feel safe, odd ?
NOT to mention sharks! jellyfish...yuck seaweed and nasty stuff
I swim in pools!
This happened to me too. :( It was awful.
Says she who posted five links to scary bugs. -shudders-
The list of things I'm scared of just goes on and on... Spiders, heights, the dark (if I'm alone, or with someone else who's afraid)... I'm also slightly claustrophobic.
I know this sounds cliché, but I don't have anything I'm scared of. If you look at everything, when it comes down to it, what kills you kills you and if it happens there isn't much you can do about it.
Though I'm all that would fall apart in a scary enough situation ;).
I forgot to mention bees. Bees are scary. And wasps, and in general anything else that buzzes.
Death. Brain damage.
spiders,yellow jackets.
scare the shit out of me
Drowning/burning (whether I die or not)
Planes (I love them since they take me where I wanna go, I hate the idea that I'm waaaay far away from the ground with no chance of survival if anything goes wrong.)
Bees and anything that resembles a bee. (creepy little flying demons.)
Losing sight/hearing (I'm an artist who's obsessed with music.)
Ever having a kid. (Don't wanna be pregnant, don't wanna adopt, I don't wanna take care of another human.)
Not being able to travel outside the country again (addicted to travel.)
Oh and being unaware of what I'm doing. I've never used drugs or alcohol or anything, and I'm scared of ever having to get any kind of surgery done cause they'll give me something that makes me loopy, and I won't know what I did or said in that time.
A woman fell seven miles from an airplane and survived.Quote:

I'm honestly afraid of fear itself. I've had weed-induced skitzophrenia and fear can literally drive you suicidal.
One man said that falling from an airplane was an extremely peaceful experience, because he realized his life was ending. He had an extremely peaceful time in the air, and then woke up gazing at a starry sky.Quote:

For all the spider/insect haters, I made a saying: Embrace all the creepy things in life. Except for spiders. They can burn in hell xD
Not sure why, but thinking of oceans makes my blood run cold. More specifically, finding myself floating in the middle of an ocean...on a dark night...is probably the most terrifying situation I could ever conceive of. Probably because it strikes me as being so virtually inescapable.
[QUOTE=I'll take either over imminent death any day.[/QUOTE]
(hopefully that quote worked)
I'm not sure. If breaking all those bones leaves me paralyzed or something, I'm not sure I'd rather be alive. And if I fell into the ocean, broken bones + water = probable drownededness.
Wow. I cannot type today. Hello, backspace bar.
Loss of control. All my nightmares involve me frozen to the spot and completely helpless. I hate that feeling.
I also harbour a secret fear of heights, and take every opportunity to go rock climbing, rappeling, cliff diving, or skydiving I can.
Bit of an adrenaline junkie, me.
baby spider swarms are the ultimate worst. i fear the mix of my imagination and the darkness, bad results.
Moving water at night... rivers and oceans.
Come to think of it, bee swarms are pretty scary.

As are hornets.

Watch this and you won't sleep for a week.
Swimming in water when I cannot see the bottom. Fraid of things swimming beneath me.
I just have:
-The generic spiders fear (mainly hairy ones...I play with redbacks, its sort of a curious fear)
-A little bit of heights, but not so much it'll really hinder me for long at all
-And the dark. Yeah, seriously. Actually its more so the ghosts or other things that'll decide to take advantage of it and stuff.
But fudge, spiders...my mates like to have fun with that one. Even daddy-long legs freak me out. Insects I don't mind though :D
OOOOHHHH I forgot the ocean. I mean, the beach is fine, as long as I don't go too far out. It's sort of the open ocean water I guess though. I did sail out to about the horizon in a one-man inflatable dingy with my mate. Thinking you see giant things underneath the water is freaking scary. Snorkeling out in deeper water gets me too.
I am afraid of bees, deep dark murky water, big machines under water, car accidents, helplessness.
I'm afraid of dying without having ever seen much of the world.
Stare at picture number 1 or 2 and then close your eyes, and imagine hugging one really tightly.
Water, and complete darkness. The both are terrifying in combination.
dying
frogs
heights
crowds/strangers touching me
public speaking
windows without blinds/curtains
i'm also claustrophobic, uh...
sand crabs
losing control of my body [ - like, if i just flung myself down some stairs and had no control over it. i actually think about this one quite a bit, seeing as how i walk five stories to the roof for exercise on my breaks ]
birds flying around indoors
I'm also afraid of this... Not my video by the way.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkfGXzcVrIg
Nothing....
Throwing up...
schizophrenia
I ain't afriad of no ghosts, that's for sure.
i fear the things that lurk in the dark
Flying bugs other than flies
I fear moths and I fear of not getting accepted for who I am
http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...own_spooky.jpg
I bet everyone know what guy this movie is from.
http://amyboo.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/furby.jpg
They will rule the world :panic::parapet::voodoo: I love these smileys
Honestly, I'm a-scared of....
Nothing BIG, really :\
I hate being in really tight spaces, like my worst fea is to be stuck and can't move like inside a vent or something *shivers*
Salad Fingers
but i love it
Maybe stupid people. Besides that, nothing. I lost/overcame my fears and haven't had an adrenaline rush in over a year. Sounds weird, but yeah.
Deep fried food
Mostly the unknown and fear itself.. I don't like things (especially bugs and spiders) sneaking up on me. Also people in masks or costumes, because i can't see their face and know their intention.
Though I don't think I have any phobias, come to think of it.
I fear alot of things as I am a "Easy to scare" person, but I'll just say some more intence fears.
I fear :
Blood (If I look at it for too long I might faint)
Bugs (ALL OF THEM...I pretty much run from them, maybe even scream)
Unknown
Heights is my worst, followed by being raped. :(
I can't look over a cliff or anything high without my knees buckling.
My car breaking down at a very inconvenient time when I don't have money.
Not trying to sound tough or anything, but few things actually 'scare' me.
I'll admit one thing though...
I'm fine with heights, unless I'm in water... murky water. I've snorkeled in the bahamas, and on coastal BC... but once me and my buddy decided to swin across a decent sized lake and when I was in the middle of the lake and looked down seeing how murky the water was it made me really uneazy. The lake water was soo dark. I could just barely see past my knees, and I was about a 5 to 7 minute swim from the nearest shore and I felt almost like a panic coming... but I just gathered my thoughts and finished the swim.
For some reason being in deep water makes me uneazy, but being high up doesn't... just some wierd fear I guess.
A lake?! Pussy! Just kidding!
Deep water makes me uneasy also, but only if it is an ocean. I know there are no sharks in a lake, or riptides for that matter, but in the ocean there is no telling what the hell is in the water with you! I was swimming in the ocean of Hawaii. Every day surfers are bragging about their encounters with Great White Sharks (I knew that some have them may have been exaggerating). So I am swimming in deep water. Something big brushes against my leg! I calmly freak out. But them a seal pops his head up about twenty seconds later.
Deep water scares me also, but only if it is the ocean.
