I can't think of one thing I miss.
I HATED (LOATHED) being a kid and teen.
There's nothing I miss about it either...
My quality of life has only gotten better since getting out of the teen years.
Ditto. I can't think of one thing I missed either. I was pretty confused. I had a good time and had some good friends, but it only got better after 19.
I miss just going out to a friends house at say, 11am, playing videogames and smoking cannabis all day long, and playing hacki sack and walking through the woods and smoking more, sometimes we would just drive and drive and hangout and I would be home past 11pm...so like 12+ hours of kickassfun and almost everyday with nearly nothing to worry about and no responsibilities.
Now its work, work, house work, chores, random chores, work, work, house work, smoke a bowl, pass out, work, home smoke a bowl, house work, work work....
Work seems to fucking dominate everything in humans lives making them dull repetitive and meaningless other then the stupid tiny check every week.
Yea, being a teen was good. Being an adult fucking sucks balls and anyone who tells you otherwise is either rich or poor and delusional.
Enfuckingjoy it while it shortly lasts.
all in all, I miss everything about being a young teen, even though school was a drag its A TINY ASS DRAG compared to work.
I wish I could go back and relive it all over again with my current mindset, not only would it be amazing but even better with my more evolved mind.
(btw if your wondering im 24, 25 soon, geez)
Its funny how we spend most of our childhood and young teenhood trying to be and look older and never appreciating and cherishing the moment where you are, most young people never think where they are right now but always strive to be older and more adult like the 'cool' older kids in 12th grade when youre in 9th grade.
Nature is funny, cause once your 24 you're already wishing you were 15 again.
That says everything. When you were 15 you were not as capable. To wish you could go back with your present mindset is to go back into a kid's body as an adult. You'd still be an adult bro.Quote:

I miss skateboarding. I still skate now, but not nearly as much. Used to skate for 6 hours almost everyday. I had some tricks back then, now it's just kick flips and 5-0 grinds.
Mostly I just feel stiff, so I miss the flexibility, but this is probably just because I'm having neck and back problems at the moment. I also spend almost all my time sitting down now because I play guitar and read all day. Pretty much I just need to exercise but I don't have time because music school takes all your time(bastards forced me into playung in three groups this semester).
Only 1 thing. I miss not having to worry about financial issues.
Yeah, not having responsibilities is good. I didn't have any responsibilities until I was 25. I just traveled and saw the world even though I didn't have a job, no money, no house, but I was a nomad. Now I work and I miss those days. I have responsibilities. But I work for a living, I don't live to work, even though that is what the system wants and society expects of you, to live to work. It is slavery, so work to live when you get older and don't take on responsibilities unless you really want to, not because anyone expects it of you. Do what YOU want to do, and life will be great no matter how old you are.
I miss being able to run and jump and climb trees. I'm 47 now, so if I fall down, I don't get up as fast as I used to, and chances are I stay down for a while :panic:
The back and knees just aren't what they used to be!
I miss being able to legitimately say I'm 18, apart from that? Nothing.
I'm 35 years old and I still climb trees :D
Everything I did as a kid/teen I still do if I want. But I don't have to worry about school, bullies, or living with my parents!
I miss being able to mooch off my parents. Also, not having to deal with taxes, auto insurance, and all of that bullshit.
Watch this music video and maybe you people might think differently : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sT0g16_LQaQ
Not having to look for a job.
Wait...I am a teenager!
My healing factor isn't as good as it used to be. Thats about all I miss.
The difference is, it isnt bad music.
sports, my old friends, my old teachers and coaches.
nothing much at all. i hated being a teen.
It's a time in my life that I'm ready to kiss goodbye. I don't miss a thing.
Nothing, really. I pretty much feel exactly the same as I did back then, only difference being that now I've (barely) got money.
