Right after I turn 18 in a few months. I've given it some thought, and I'm going to do it. My current middle name is Robert, which my grandpa's name.
My first and last initials are MF, so it's perfect.

So long as you can change it back eventually, let the lulz ensue.
Restrictions for Changing Your Name
There are several situations where you are not allowed to change your name. A name change cannot be done:
?With a fraudulent intent (change your name to avoid the law, etc.)
?To interfere with the rights of others (you can not change your name to George W. Bush, or assume an identity to get benefits from being that person)
?If you change your name to something that is intentionally confusing like a number or punctuation symbol
?If your name will equate to a racial slur
?If your name will equate to fighting words
Curses could be considered fighting words.
You have to make it discreet. someones license plate said i<3tofu.
Also, do you go to a school that starts with an S? I saw someone who looks strangely like you
Even if he ends up changing his name back, he will still have at the very least an interesting story to tell. So I say do it.
This is a bad decision.
You should change it to the verb, not the noun.
But what is really the point in that?
You can usually tell apart the people who dislike sweary words, and it is fairly easy to just not tell them the name...
I like the idea. It's funny.
Whats the point in changing middle name, it hardly gets used anyway.
And this thread sounds like something a troll would do.
That would be an epic name to have! Megalolz. It's not like it would get used that often, but would be a funny joke you could throw out at parties etc. It's like saying,
"Danger is my middle name" and actually having it as your middle name.
I don't think I have used my middle name for anything in like 20 years. Even stuff that wants your middle name only wants an initial. So I say go for it if you want. Its your life, and finding something amusing is reason enough to do anything.
I agree with Lseadragon though. I would use the verb form of it, motherfucking instead of fucker. That way you can say "I am Mike Motherfucking Fletcher." Which just rolls off the tongue even better.
I agree you should change it to the verb not the noun. It is just so much more badass.
