      Some movies are:

      Bled: use of intoxicants to achieve altered states and dream life and the consequences. A cool movie
      Ink: forces of dark and light compete for souls. I find it boring
      Blood and Chocolate: Shapeshifters can change into wolves at will. A cool movie

      I liked Science of Sleep a lot, its about a lucid dreamer who's line between fantasy and reality is blurred.

      Also the anime Paprika has a lot to do with this subject matter, really cool movie.

      When it comes to plain ol altered states my favorite is one of the obvious choices, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

      I'm sure there's more but I can't think of any at the moment.

      Another, a classic, is of course Altered States. A guy goes into a deprivation tank and explores mind and reality, with a cool twist.

      I like Waking Life and The Science of Sleep. If anyone hasn't seen Waking Life I highly recommend you seeing it. Anyone else know some Lucid Dream related movies?

      Waking Life is such a great and inspiring movie!

      I would add the more hollywood-like movies Vanilla Sky and Eyes Wide Shut , both refer to reality and dreamworld merging into each other...
