      Do you ever...

      Do you ever look back on posts you've made and think: "Man, what the HELL was I thinking back then?"

      Well I was searching for a post of mine in order to find an LD mp3 I wanted to use again, and I found this gem: http://dreamviews.com/community/showthread.php?t=31733

      I actually called myself a Christian and said I believed in God and Jesus, and used such horrible reasoning such as "I have no real reasons for thinking gay marriage is wrong, just personal beliefs."

      I couldn't have been older than...14 at the time? Oh, how I've changed.

      [Note: I don't wish for this to be moved to R/S. Let's just keep the topic off religion specifically and on "what was I thinking?" moments.]

      I didn't join DV all that long ago, so... no, not really. But I'm sure if I went back to some sites I was on when I was younger (11-12) I would wonder what I was thinking.

      That's kind of funny, actually, since the converse is true for me. I tend cringe whenever I look back on some of my older blog entries - from when I was about 15 or 16 - marveling at how much of a narrow-minded little atheist I was. I would often taunt or outright insult God (as if He would give two shits about what a prissy little teen thought). That was at a time when I didn't know about agnostics, completely unaware that religious beliefs could, in fact, be flexible.

      I was also a little bit racist. Well, "nationalistic", I guess you'd call it. I made my disdain for Canadians and the French quite clear, for no real reason. Just didn't like them, I guess. What the hell was I thinking?
